Step  Warming-up and lead-ing in .  Review the kinds of movies and talk in pairs: what do the movies make  you feel?

Step II  Presentation .

1) Review the adjectives/verbs 

about feeling: nervous sleepy ex-cited scared uncomfortable cry laugh relax and so on. then present the sentence structure :

make sb/sth do/adj

2) talk about the pictures in 1a and design topics:

What do you think of the two restaurants? The first restaurant makes me (  ). Why? Because of the (  ) music and the (  ) pictures.The second one makes me (  )  why? Because of the (  ) music. So I would like to go to the (  ) restaurant.

 

Step III Listening Practice (1b) 

Ask the students to listen to Amy and Tina talking about the two restaurants and do the exercises. Play twice.

Step IV Speaking Practice (1c) Ask the students to talk about how music affects them.  Let the Ss work in pairs and   talk about how the two restaurants would affect them.

Read the conversation in 1c and then according to the pictures in 1a and the listening in 1b , make a new conversation in pairs.

Step V Grammar

       He made me do this exercise again.

在被动语态中变为:sb  be  made to do

2). rather 原意为相当,为副词   

 eg:  It’s rather cold today.  今天相当冷。  

     rather常与would连用 宁可,宁愿, 还是好些  

eg:  I'd rather play tennis than swim.  我不想游泳,我宁愿去打网球。
