Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to Section A 3a-3c教学设计
At the end of class, students will be able to :
1 .read the whole passage quickly and fluently.
master the key words and phrases correctly: down, dialogue, ending, documentary, drama,
plenty, plenty of, shut, shut off, superhero, once in a while …
obtain the main idea and some specific information of the passage and learn some reading
strategies while completing the reading tasks.
Teaching Key points:
How to help students practice the reading skills to get the general and detailed information in the passage and understand better the passage .
Teaching difficult points:
Help students master the key words, phrases and some language points.
Guide students to talk about their favorite movies and give reasons.
Step one: Warm-up and lead-in (5 minutes)
Daily greeting as usual.
Daily Check of the language points learned in last class.
Ask students questions:
What kinds of movies can you name?
What do you think about different kinds of movies?
present different kinds of movies and related pictures so as to lead Ss to describe the
movies with their own words.;
For example : What kind of movies do you like to watch? Why?
—I like cartoons. Because they are always very funny. What about you?
—I prefer romance movies. Because they are very touching.
Step 2. General reading(6 minutes):
Students read the passage quickly and underline the different kinds of movies and circle the movie names.
Students say their answers , where they are located and tell how they are found, others should take notes carefully.
Students can the passage to find out all the attributive clauses in this passage and point out the relative pronouns in each sentence.
4. Students read these sentences aloud after the teacher and try to understand the meaning
Step 3. Careful reading(15 minutes)
1.Students read paragraph one together and teacher chooses one to translate it into Chinese.
2.Students read the second paragraph, then fill in the chart about comedies and cartoons.
3.Students read the last two paragraphs, then write T for true or F for false.
4.Students should tell the related sentences in the passage and correct the wrong sentences into right ones.
5. Students read the passage again and answer the questions in 3b.
Step 4. Post-reading (6mins)
Students think about what kinds of movies they like to watch and complete the chart.
Students have free talk with each other ,take notes and encourage students to introduce
their own favorite movies.
Step 5. Summary and home work (8mins)
list the important words and phrases in the passage and let students take notes ,then read
them aloud .

教学反思
本节阅读课的内容是人教版九年级Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to Section A 3a-3c,班级B78,属于同一层次班级里中下等水
平。本次课总体的完成度良好,在结构设计上比较紧凑,内容详实。从引入,读前问题,读中问题设置,读后思考和语法,句型的理解;表格的梳理,做到有的放矢,不同层次的学生均可以参与进来,有获得感。
阅读课的目标中的要点一定是读,本节课采取默读,分段读,跟读,齐读等方式,学生在课前对课文有一定的预习,所以在读上面没有花费很大的功夫。其次,本节课更加侧重通过问题去文中寻找关键信息等能力的培养,而不是语言点和翻译。故我在设计课程的时候,很少设计词汇和句型的难度,基本上问题和相关环节都尽可能的平缓。
教学难点在于different kinds of movies 和对不同电影的评价,以及相关的词汇的拓展。学生平时对电影英文名的关注比较少,所以应该在这个地方提醒学生关注生活。
在最后总结的环节,由于时间关系比较仓促的收尾,略显不足,后期会多多加以练习,争取优化教学环节,合理分配时间。
