1.Do you find housework tiring and boring?

你是否觉得家务活又累又烦？

本句是“find＋宾语＋宾语补足语”结构，形容词短语tiring and boring作宾语补足语。

该结构的具体构成是：

find＋宾语＋宾补

①We find the story (to be) very interesting.

我们发现这个故事很有趣。

②He found his father in heavy debt.

他发现他的父亲负债累累。

③When we got home, we found all the lights on.

当我们回到家时，发现所有的灯都亮着。

④She turned around and found a man staring (stare) at her.

她转过身，发现一个男人在盯着她。

⑤She returned to her home to find her back door forced (force) open.

她回到家中，发现后门被强行打开了。

[名师点津]　(1)如果find的宾语为动词不定式或从句，则需用it作形式宾语，而把真正的宾语放在宾补后面。构成“find ＋ it ＋ adj./n. ＋ to do sth./that”表示“发现做某事……”。

⑥We found it possible_to_finish (finish) the work in ten minutes.

我们发现在十分钟内完成这项任务是可能的。

(2)能用于此句型常见的动词有：find, consider, make, believe, think, feel等。

⑦He made it a rule to get up before seven in the morning.

我习惯于早上七点之前起床。

2．They are very practical and easy to wash.

它们非常实用且易于清洗。

本句属于“Sb./Sth.＋be＋adj.＋(for sb./sth.) to do”句型，现对该句型解读如下：

(1)在该句型中形容词多为表示主语性质、特征的词，如easy, difficult, hard, important, impossible, comfortable, pleasant等。

(2)有时为了表达更清楚可用for引出不定式动作的执行者，即不定式的逻辑主语。

①The question is difficult for me to answer.

这个问题对我来说很难回答。

②The text is difficult for me to_understand (understand)．

对于我来说，理解这篇文章有点难。

[名师点津]　在该句型中句子主语sb./sth.是不定式短语的逻辑宾语，若构成不定式的动词为不及物动词，通常要在不定式后加上适当的介词。

③The city is very suitable for people to live in.

这座城市非常适宜人居住。
