    There are three sentence types used to construct a paragraph, the first type is topic sentence which is one sentence which states your idea, point, or opinion. This sentence should use a strong verb and make a bold statement. the second type is supporting sentences

which provide explanations and support for the topic sentence (main idea) of your paragraph. the third type is concluding sentence, which restates the main idea and reinforces the point or opinion. The Power Point bellow will expound the strategy on paragraph writing.
