教学设计 Unit 10 I’d like some noodles. Period 1(1a—2b) 河口中学:郑成仁 课前准备 教师:多媒体教学课件,制作表格(见教学步骤)。 教学设计 Step One: Warming-up and lead in. ①. Let the students enjoy the video program about food and vegetables. to go over and learn about more food. ②. Ask and answer: What food do you like? Step Two: Review. Go over the countable nouns and uncountable nouns by completing the short essay, let the students learn how to use them. Step Three: Presentation. ① Present the new food words and seven lively pictures. Learn the new words and show the key points. ② Look at 1a Read the words on the left and look at the pictures on the right. Write the letters of the food on the line. Then check the answers. Step Four. Presentation and Pair work. Show a kind of noodles and tell the students what kind of noodles it is. Tell the students how to put a noun in front of another one correctly. Show another kind of noodles and let the students try to express rightly in two ways. ③ Show more noodles and let the students practice more. ④ Pair Work .First the teacher ask, the students answer.Then let the students practice by themselves , the teacher move around to give help if the students need, then ask several pairs to act them out in class. ⑤ Tell the students how to use would like. Step Five: Watching. Just enjoy the video, let the students know about how to order food in English. Step Six: Listening. ① T: In the following conversation, one man is ordering some food. Now, let’s listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders. ② Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the answers. Step Seven: Learn and practice. ① Learn the new phrases : a small bowl of , a medium bowl of , a large bowl of. ② Show a conversation about how to order noodles. Then let the students practice. Step Eight: Listening 1. Work on 2a; T: Now, look at the pictures on the right, listen to the conversations and check the names of the foods you hear. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and check the names of the foods. Check the answers. ) 2. Work on 2b: ① (Play the recording for the Ss to listen and complete the sentences.) ② Play the recording twice. The first time Ss just listen. And the second time, Ss listen and write down the words. (If necessary, use the pause button to help Ss) 3. Check the answers. Step Nine: Task. ①Divide the students into groups of four. ②Survey about what kind of noodles and what size bowl of noodles the students in your group would like. ③ Ask six students report to the class. Step Ten: Exercise. Ask the students say out the answers and check them. If they are right, give them a big hand.
