【学习目标】

1．教会学生读懂有关描述“圣诞节”的文章。

2．教会学生根据所学内容，更好的掌握文章大意。

3．指导学生通过开展小组学习活动，了解圣诞节的内在含义，培养学生用善良和热情对待身边的每个人，向世界传递爱与欢乐。

find out和find的区别

①find out意为“找出，发现，查明”，多指通过调查、询问、研究之后搞清楚、弄明白，通常含有“经过困难曲折”的含义，通常指找出无形、抽象的东西。

②find意为“找到，发现”，通常指找到或发现其具体的东西，也可以指偶然发现某物。

(2)请尝试翻译以下课文中的句子(特别注意斜体部分的单词)。

①But behind all these things lies the true meaning of Christmas：the importance of sharing and

giving love and joy to people around us. 但是圣诞节的真正含义隐藏在所有这些东西的背后：把爱和快乐分享给我们周围的人。

②He warns Scrooge to change his ways if he doesn't want to end up like him. 他警告斯克鲁奇：如果不想下场和他一样，就得改变方式。

2．Intensive reading.(精读)

细读文章，回答2c，2d中的问题，并标明答案的出处。

(1)Students read the passage quickly，know the main idea well，and finish the task in 2b.

(2)Students try to translate the more difficult sentences in the text.

2．Intensive reading

Students read the passage carefully，answer the questions in 2c and 2d，find and mark the answers in the text.

3．Retelling

Students sort out the main points in the passage and try to retell them with them.

教师要有意识地增加学生阅读能力的训练与培养，要多选用内容健康、时代感、思想性、知识性、趣味性较强的短文，通过大量阅读来培养学生的语感及通过上下文捕捉信息的能力，还要注意文化背景知识的学习，拓宽学生的知识面，开阔学生的视野。另一方面，应从思想上转变教学观念，把发展学生的阅读能力作为阅读教学中的重中之重。充分发挥语篇教学的作用，改变那种只重视知识讲解和训练，忽视阅读能力培养的做法。
