作业标题:有趣的英语课堂游戏 作业周期 : 2021-01-06 2021-01-30

在英语课堂教学中适时地加入若干个游戏,不仅可以让孩子们保持学习的兴趣、保持课堂活跃度,还能有效的提高孩子们对于知识的理解和掌握。请您根据不同年级的课本内容设计两个课堂游戏,并按要求上传。

要求:1、任选一个年级的任何一个单元进行游戏设计,课型不限;

      2、游戏的设计包括设计目的和设计过程;用文档形式上传,不用制作PPT。

      3、在截止时间(2021年1月30日)前上传。

Unit 12 Culture shock Lesson 4 The New Australians

Teaching Objectives

(1) Knowledge objective:  

To learn different aspects of Australia and master important words and expressions in the passage.

(2) Competence objective

To enable students grasp the skills of guessing the meanings of news words, skimming,scanning and expressing in English.  

(3) Emotion Objective

To enhance students’cross-cultural awareness and learn to respect different cultures.

Teaching Importance  

To enable students learn information about different aspects of Australia.

Teaching Difficulties

(1) To make students grasp relevant reading skills, such as skimming and scanning. (2 )To improve students’ cross-cultural awareness.

Teaching Methods

By using multi-media; cooperative learning; task-based teaching

 Teaching Game Design:  

Game 1 Let me guess.(设计目的:通过视频导入,激发学生兴趣,引出本课话题。通过图片及文字提供关于澳大利亚的背景知

识,并训练学生根据图片和语境猜测生词的能力,为下文阅读提供背景信息并扫除词汇障碍。)

Present a video.

After watching the video, the teacher asks students one question: what is the video about?  

Task 1: Brainstorming: How much do you know about Australia?  

Task2: Introduce some basic information about Australia by showing some pictures and sentences.

Introduce Australia from the following aspects:  

(1)General situation (2)Culture (3)Scenery (4) Animals (5)Way of life

During the introduction, students are encouraged to guess the meanings of the new words according to the pictures and context. Picture Contents: Australia is a multi-cultural country. There is a lively cultural scene here. There is a vast area of desert in the middle of Australia. This huge rock changes color at dusk. They like being outdoors.  

Game 2  Engage in a contest.(设计目的:通过小组对抗,激发学生学习的主动性,让自由发表观点,提高学生的语言表达能力,训练学生快速查找信息的能力,并获取文章的主要内容。)

Divide the whole class into two groups. Let them compare with each other by playing these roles in the passage. Before reading, the teacher explains the reading skill of how to get the main idea from the text.

1Is it all Kangaroos and surfing?

Answer : No.

2What aspects of Australia are mentioned in this passage?   Answers: different cultures;  food&animal;  industry &agriculture;  

art & literature; sports;  don’t like;  places to see.
