通过HelenWen Wei的对话,呈现了本课所要谈论的话题: Whats your hobby?以及兴趣、爱好的不同表达形式,如like/enjoy/prefer/be interested in/befondof +doing。结合本单元的话题Our Hobbies, 呈现了大量的表示兴趣爱好的短语: go traveling, collect stamps, walk a pet dog, listen to music等。“兴趣爱好”这个话题和学生们的生活紧密相联,容易激发学生的学习兴趣。但要正确使用爱好的不同表达形式对学生来说还是有一定困难的。,引导学生正确地使用like/enjoy/prefer/谈论自己的兴趣爱好,并能书面表达自己及朋友家人的兴趣爱好。

  1. 能根据音标正确拼读并运用单词表中的单词,如: hobby, poem, maybe等。

句型。

. Learning strategies

1. 学生能够借助不同的句型和句子结构来表达相同的意思,这样有助于口语和书面表达的

灵活性和多样性。

2. 听前复习词组,扫除词汇障碍,对完成听力任务有很大的帮助。

. Teaching procedures

Step1.Get students ready for learning.

Step2

a. Listen to 1a and choose the correct answer,

 (Teacher plays the recording of 1a and lets students find out the answer.)

b.Listen again (try to understand the main ider of the passage)

c.Finish 1b. Check the answer

 d.Encourage students to look at the pictures in 1c and try to check the phrases

according to the pictures.

e. Play 1a again and ask students to write down the phrases in 1c

and ask students to write H for Helens hobbies, W for Wen Weis.

f.writer down the ket points

g.Finish 1d. Ask students to read 1a and fill in the blanks.

Step3

a. exercise what's your hobby?----I love/like/prefer/be interested in/be fond of+V-ing...

b.Pratice 1a with partner.Ask students to look at carefully and suwmmarize

the usage of like/be fond of/be interested in/ enjoy /prefer.

c.Teacher explains some key points and difficult points to the students:

 (1) The structure of like/be fond of / be interested in enjoy/prefer+doing

  (2) The key sentences Whats your hobby?” “My hobby is reading. Then

give students some exercises to check whether they have mastered them.

Step4

a. Play 3a. Pay attention to the pronunciation.

b. Play 3a again.

c. Read the sentences loudly.

d. Do the exercises.

Step5

a.Organize the students to play a game.

b.Teacher shows important language points on the computer screen as a summary.

  --Words List: Students have to read and spell the following words correctly.
