Step 1. Warming up
1. Greetings
Good afternoon, everyone! I'm No.15. Nice to meet you!
T: How is the weather?
Ss: It's sunny.
T: Yes. It's sunny. Welcome to our English class.
2. Make a free talk and sing the song.
T: What day is it today?
Ss: It's Friday.
T: How many days are there in a week?
Ss: Seven days.
T: Good! There are seven days.
Now, all of you stand up ,Let's sing the song and do following me.(Flash)

Good job! Just like this song, we are very busy from Monday to Friday, because we have many lessons, but we haven’t any lessons on Saturday and Sunday.

Ss: Yes.
T: But my good friend Tom, what does he do on Saturday? Do you want to know?

Step3.Enjoy the story
First, I divide you into two groups , the boys group and the girls group. Both of them have a cup of juice, in the class which group does well, they will drink their juice, at last, the rest of the juice is less than the other, the group will be the winner. Are you clear?

1. You can talk about the story in groups, then answer these questions:
Q1: What does Tom like doing in the evening?
Q2: What time does Tom get up in the morning?
Q3: Does he have breakfast?
Q4: Is Tom late for school? Why?
3. Listen again and think about these questions.(Flash)
4. Who can answer Question1/ Question 2/Question 3/Question 4?
5. Listen again and read after it 3 times.(Flash)

Activity 1: Read and point
I read the story , you point the picture as soon as possible.

Activity4: Retell the story.
Tie the pictures on the blackboard and retell.
Activity5: Let's have a role- play.
