教材分析

本节课学习Unit 6  Happy birthday! C Story time。这个故事通过为Zoom庆祝生日，来复习巩固第六单元的主要单词和词汇，并拓展了一些新的词汇。本课时为第六单元的第六课时。这个故事的内容少，句型简单。  

学情分析

第六单元的话题为生日。这个话题很贴近学生的生活。三年级的同学针对这个话题，有想说和能说的话。学生很乐于学习十个数字、手势和英文生日歌曲等内容。三年级的学生很喜欢学习这个故事。

学习目标

1.Read   the story correctly and fluently.

(借助图片、视频和录音以及小组合作，能读懂对话大意，并用正确的语音、语调朗读故事。）

2.   Act out the story through describing the pictures,role-play and group work.（通过描述图片，角色扮演和小组合作，能把故事表演出来。

评价任务

1.   Read the   story.

2.   Act out the   story.

教学过程

Step1  Warm-up / Revision

1.Greetings

    The teacher: How are you?     

The students: I’m   fine,thank you. And you?

    The   teacher: Very well,thanks. Nice to meet you.

    The students: Nice to meet you,too.

2. Review   the numbers: one-ten.

How many? ....

   教师借助粉笔和手势来引导学生复习数字1到10。

3. Review   the sentence structure: How old are you？I’m ....

4. Show   the learning aims

Today,We will learn an animal’s birthday. First let’s   look at the learning aims.

Step 2  Presentation

1. Play the video

通过观看课文动画，学生对这个故事有一个整体的感知。

2. Read the story with your partners. Answer the two questions.

Open your book, please. Work in groups. Read the   story with your partners.

The teacher shows the two questions:

      (1)Whose birthday party is it? (谁的生日聚会？)

      (2)What can you see in the party?（在派对上，你看见了什么？）

The teacher guides the students to answer the   questions.The teacher shows the answers in turn.

教师引导学生回答第二个问题的时候，分别把课文中的一些要素（如 蛋糕，礼物，蜡烛），以图片的形式贴在黑板上。

其中，教师利用礼物的实物来学习“gift”这个单词，并强调了这个单词的单数和复数。

While answering the second question, the teacher   guides the students to learn some new words and phrases. Such as birthday   cake, gifts, so many candles....

3. Show each picture in turn and guide the students to study the text. 

The students observe the pictures，guess the content and read follow the tape.

其中，教师引导学生用英语解释英文单词“surprise”。教师用蛋糕实物并配上吃的动作来引导学生学习“eat the cake”。

Step3  Practice

1. 配音游戏

利用课文动画软件进行角色扮演，给角色配音。这个软件可以只呈现课文动画和文字，让同学们配音。参与展示的同学勾选自己想要表演的角色，站在在讲台处表演。

2. Work in groups. Try to act out the story.

作业/拓展

1.Read   the story fluently .

2.   Tell the story to your parents.

3   Act out the story with your friends.

教学反思

本节课中，学生积极参与到课堂中，比较活跃。学生能够朗读课文并能带上头饰把课文内容表演出来。学生能够完成本节课的两个目标。目标达成率比较高。教学环节比较流畅。实物和图片等教具有助于课堂教学。教师可以再改进一下板书设计。教师也可以在课堂中增加一些奖励机制。
