1.Sing an English song: use the rhythm of two tigers to review the simple past tense.

2.Show some pictures about teacher’s vacation and introduce the vacation , and ask students’ introduce their vacation use the proper tense.

Ask a question:

1.Do you have a good vacation?/How about your last vacation?

2.Do you want to know Jane’s vacation?

Fast reading

1.Give students 2 minutes to read the passage quickly.

2.Answer teacher’s question:

(1)Did Jane have a good time on Monday?

(2)What about on Tuesday?

3.Ask students answer the questions and repeat the right answer ,and show answers on themultimedia.

Careful reading

1.Give students 5 minutes to read the passage carefully.

2.Explain some main phrases and sentence patterns.

3.Give 4 minutes to read passage carefully and fill in the chart.

4.Check the answer: Ask some groups do it one by one.
