   Teaching steps:

   Step one  revision

   Free talk

   Step two lead-in

   Show the pictures,introducing greeting words.

   Step three warm-up  

1. Have the students do part 1 and part 2

2. make dialogues,using the learned sentences.

3. explain part 2

   Step Four  listening

1. Show the picture,guess:Where are sandy and sue?

2. play the tape and check the answer.

3. play again,underline the greetings and introductions.

4. Act out the dialogue.

5. finish part 3 and 4

   Step five  consolidation

   Make similar dialogues.

   Step six homework

   Memorize part 2 on page 3
