Teacher: yes, what is the simple past tense? We use the simple past tense to talk about the things in the past. Yesterday, last week, a week ago ,they are some time expressions for the simple past tense.

Teacher: we usually form the simple past tense by adding ‘-ed’ to regular verbs. Tell me the rules. We form the simple past tense of irregular verbs differently. We should remember them by heart.. Read irregular verbs on page 120 by heart after class.
