【教学内容】:译林版牛津英语六年级上册Unit7 Protect the Earth (Story time)
【教学目标】:
1. 学生能初步理解并且会听、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组:use,much,oil,glass等,和会运用句型:we
use... to...
2. 学生能初步听懂并且会说、会读单词protect the Earth,coal,save energy, come from, cut down,waste water,reuse,plastic,
wood, too much, useful 等。
3. 学生能初步感知情态动词should及shouldn’t的用法
We use wood
to make tables, chairs, beds and other things.
We use
plastics to make bags and bottles.
( save water,
save energy, save trees and don’t use too much plastic) 并板书。

设计意图:在提问题时注意问题的难度,从易到难,注重给不同层次的学生自信感,并给孩子们一些 learning tips 学习方法小提示:当我们看较长短文时,可以尝试速记,如时间、地点、人物等。教之授鱼之法,让学生学会学习。
呈现光头强砍树的画面。

设计意图:在板书设计上利用一个球的形式将课文中的水,树木,能源分列其中,帮助学生理清内容,使课文中的知识点清晰明了,降低学生复述课文的难度。

1. Read the whole passage loudly and finish the exercise ”
think and write” on page70, and then check the answers.
2. Retell the text according to the blackboard design.
3. Brain-storm.
T: The Earth is so
important for us. We should protect it. Now I’ll give you some suggestion. Can
you tell me what we can do.
E.g. T: To protect the Earth, we should save water.
S1: Water is important.
S2: Water is useful.
S3: We drink water every day.
S4: Trees and flowers need water.
S5: We should reuse water.
S6: We shouldn’t waste water.
4. Introduce the slogan “ Save the world, save our lives.”
to the students.
设计意图:回到开始的故事,提问怎样让地球妈妈开心,让学生复述保护地球的方式,运用should/shouldn’t对所学内容进行巩固。最后,提出保护地球,从我做起。

【教学效果】: 通过本节课的学习,让学生了解保护地球的重要性,培养学生热爱地球,保护地球的意识,了解更多保护地球的方法。知道在日常生活中如何做,并且起到很好的宣传作用,保护地球刻不容缓,从你我做起,共同维护地球家园。
