【教学过程】

Step I Revision

1.Review simple present tense of the verb to do

2.用所给单词的适当形式填空。

(1)He often      (go) home on foot.    (2）     Millie       (come) from Nanjing?

(3)They     (not like)     (play)tennis. (4）What       you usually     (do) at weekends?

(5）The watch            （not work）today.    

A 组: 复习行为动词一般现在时的用法。2.完成用动词的适当形式填空。

Step II Presentation

Task1 1.Free talk about students’favourite sports.

2.呈现Millie，Simon，Kitty，Amy，Sandy和Daniel的图片

      What sports does Amy like ? What about Simon? Do you want to know other students’ favotite                 sports? Let’s listen to the tape,try to finish A1.

B组：1.全班听录音，完成P25，A1部分，并核对A1的答案  2.小对子间就A1部分的内容进行问答

Task2  Listen to the tape and complete the notes in Part A2 on page26.

C组: 1.小组带领全班学习并核对A2部分的答案，全班齐读。

2翻译句子并讲解里面的知识点，如：Many of my students like sports.我的大多数学生喜欢运动。“ many of +the/my ... +名词”大多数…这个短语中的名词必须要用可数名词的复数形式，后面接的谓语动词也要用复数形式。

Task3  Speak up

4. Role-play the dialogue and do performances in front of the class.(分角色表演对话）

D组:  1. 听课本上P26，B部分speak up的录音，回答问题并核对T/F的答案。

       2. 分角色带领大家朗读对话。要求注意语音语调、流利度、准确性。3.翻译并讲解知识点。（1）What else do you like to do ?“else”副词，意为“另外的，其他的”，通常用在疑问词what, who等或不定式代词somebody,something, anybody, nothing之后，如：What else do you know?你还知道谁？

 (2) I read a lot of interesting books. a lot of = lots of  许多的，大量的，在修饰可数名词的时候相当于many,修饰不可数名词的时候相当于much。There are lots of / lots of boats on the river.河面上有很多船。I have lots of /lots of/much time to read books every day.我每天都有很多时间看书。

（3）Me too.表示对方所说的内容与自己的情况相同。I like swimming. What about you? --Me too.

 (4) It makes me feel great. make/let sb do,让某人干某事；make sb 后直接加adj，如make him happy

（5）Reading is fun.读书时件有趣的事情。

  Reading是动名词，放在句子开头。“fun”享乐，乐趣，有趣的事情。此处作不可数名词。funny为形容词，意为滑稽的，有趣的。have fun doing... 意为玩...... 开心。

E组：1.根据speak up带领全班同学编一组新对话并表演。2.小组PK赛。

Task4 Study skills

1. Read the pronunciation of five vowels letters after the tape.

2. Let students find out the rule: the sound of the vowel letters are the same as the sounds of the letters themselves.

3. Finish Part A and check the answers.

4. Listen to the tape and repeat Part B&C . Pay attention to the bold letters.(注意黑体字母）

F组：1.核对Part A的答案，带领大家朗读

2.抽查其他组读B部分的单词

3.朗读并翻译C部分的词组
