一、设计主题

学生的学习为中心初中英语阅读

二、教学理念

本节课依据新课标英语学习活动观设计而成。即学生在主题意义引领下,通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等一系列体现综合性、关联性和实践性等特点的英语学习活动,基于已有的知识,依托情境,在分析问题和解决问题的过程中,促进自身语言知识学习、语言技能发展、文化内涵理解、多元思维发展、价值取向判断和学习策略运用。

三、教学内容整体设计分析

本节课是阅读课,旨在发展学生的语言能力,培养学生的英文逻辑思维,落实学生的课堂有效学习。基于本节课阅读材料的特点及教学目标,本课的话题围绕动画片和对动画人物的认知展开。学生对此话题兴趣浓厚,求知欲望强烈,在教师地指导下能够获取有关动画人物的相关信息,正确的了解动画人物、分析动画人物并运用不同时态介绍动画人物。本单元的第一课时以听说形式创设观看动画视频、了解动画人物的情境。第二课时中,首先学生通过视频播放了解老师最喜欢的动画人物、制作人物身份卡并引出阅读文章,通过读前预测文章大意、速读获取人物数目、匹配人物图片,再到利用K-W-L框架指导的精读,引导学生从框架上感知有关动画人物的factsopinions以及influence等,然后教师引导学生从每个方面深度细化为本,感受不同类别信息的语言使用,最后小组活动,学生选择自己最喜欢的动画人物,配图、配文介绍喜欢的动画人物,完成从简单的身份卡到人物剪影的丰富。

本课有两条线索:

1.不同的动画人物(平行文本)

2.认识到行动(认识事物、剖析事物、介绍事物)

四、学情分析

本节课授课学生为我校八年级(5)班学生。八年级(5)班学生为我校英语中等学生学生整体精神风貌较好。在过去的英语学习过程中,学生已培养了浓厚的学习兴趣,接触了一些有效的学习方法,积累了较丰富的学习经验。该班学生总体学习理解能力突出,但应用实践能力、分析论证与整合运用稍显欠缺,表现为不能完整提取阅读材料中的逻辑线索并且能完整地组织、编排信息进而内化成自己的语言进行阐述。但该班学生思维活跃,对于故事类文本阅读有初步的认识,综合阅读能力有待提高。

五、教学目标

By the end of the lesson,students are expected to:

Language competence:

(1)design a character profile of their own favourite cartoon hero and

introduce it with related words and expressions in the right tense.

(2)understand the passage about cartoons, grasp the specific and general ideas(facts opinions influence);

(3)know and understand the writer's purpose of using some vocabulary(adverbs: everywhere,all over the world,always,still;verbs laugh,make a mess,expect):numbers:200 million.

Learning competence:

(1)get specific information with different reading skills;

(2)cooperate to understand design and introduce a favourite cartoon hero.

Thinking quality:

(1)read between lines to guess opinions about cartoon hero sread

beyond the lines and speculate the writer's opinions;

(2)Master the though of introducing a cartoon hero from facts opinions to influence.

Culture awareness:

(1)understand the reasons why cartoon heroes are creates and why they can have so great influence from one generation to another;

(2)raise the awareness to learn about cultural inheritance from cartoons and cartoon heroes.

六、教学重难点

1.The teaching emphases are the key vocabulary and expressions and the understanding of passage from the perspectives of facts,opinions and influence.

2.The difficulties lie in the knowing and understanding of the writer’s

purpose of using some vocabulary and the reason why cartoons are created and spread.

整体把握文章内容,培养学生阅读技巧。

1、教师根据文本特点灵活运用图片呈现文本信息,利于学生接受。同时,教师引导学生将信息结构化,为学生深刻理解故事发展提供支持。
