一、Learning objectives

1.Review the using of Present Progressive Tense(现在进行时）according to some activities.

2.Learn to write a composition(作文）about everyday activities by using the Present Progressive Tense(现在进行时） .

二、Teaching Procedures

Step 1. Warming- up and revision

1. Listen to a beautiful song Lemon Tree to arouse students’ interests.

2. Fill in the blanks according to the song. Summary which tense does the sentences use/

3. Review the Present Progressive Tense .

Step 2. Practice

T: It’s a fine Sunday morning.

There’re many people in the park.

They are playing happily. Do you want to go?

Then show pictures and ask students:“What are they doing?”

Step 3.Writing 

      1.话题分析：本单元的话题是“日常活动”，与单元话题相关的写作内容常常叙述正在做的事情，必须用到的结构为“be+v-ing. 行文中应合理使用句式，注意观察人物所进行的活动，正确运用形容词，做到人物活动齐全。适当使用时间状语从句和提示性词语，增加文章的可读性。
