Unit6 Do you like bananas

Period one(1a-1c)

一、教学目标:

1.Language goals: Talk about likes and dislikes;

(1)Key vocabulary: hamburger(s),tomato(es),orange(s), ice-cream, salad, banana(s), strawberry(strawberries), pear(s), milk, bread.

(2)Target language: Do you like bananas?

                  Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

2. Ability goals:

(1)Train students’ listening and speaking skills.

(2)Talk about likes and dislikes fluently.

3. Moral goals

Talk about food, enjoy life.

Step1   Warming up and lead in(3mins)

(1)Daily greeting.

(2)Review last unitSs look at what T shows and answer

e.g. :

      T: What’s this?

      Ss: It’s a ping-pong ball.

      T: Great! I have a ping-pong ball. Do you have a ping-pong ball?

      S1: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

      T: Excellent! The whole class, does he/she have a ping-pong ball?

      Ss: Yes, he/she does./No, he/she doesn’t.

      …..

      T: Ok, let’s see what else do I have? Wow~~, What’s this?

      Ss: It’s an orange.

      T: Yes. It’s an orange. Do you like it?

      Ss: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

      T: Great! Today, we will talk about likes and dislikes. Now, let’s start a new unit, Unit 6 Do you have bananas?

        Please read after me.

Step2   Work on 1a(18mins)

   (1)Show bananas/pears/tomatoes/milk(etc.) to Ss and say : (8mins)

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a hamburger.

T: What are these?

Ss: They are hamburgers.

T: I like hamburgers. Do you like hamburgers?

Ss: Yes, I do./

   No, I don’t.

T: Good! Now, from here, please answer my question one by one. Do you like hamburgers?

S1: Yes, I do.

S2: No, I don’t.
