一、教学目标

1. 知识目标: (1) 复习掌握本单元重要的词汇。

（2）掌握句型：What does he look like?等

2．能力目标：（1）能熟练地运用句型What…look like?询问人的外表。

（2）能较熟练地运用普通形容词来描述人的外貌特征等。

3．情感目标：培养观察分析能力，树立正确的审美观。

二、教学重难点

重点：本单元的词汇、句型及语法。

难点：学会描述人的外貌特征

三、教学方法

任务驱动下的自主学习。

四、教学过程

Step1. Showing

1. Using the pictures and cards, revise the
words.

Words: tall , short , medium height , thin
, heavy , medium build , hair , straight , curly , beard ,blonde , brown , pop
singer 等。

Get the students to read them.

2. Ask the students to answer some
questions:

What do you look like?

What does he/she look like?

Then get the students to practice the
conversations in pairs.

Step2.Speaking

Describe your favorite musician, actor and
athlete.

学生拿出自己搜集的著名音乐家或演员或运动员的图片，对自己最喜欢的人物进行分组描述，并选代表进行展示。同时利用图片进行现场描述。

Step3. Listening

1. Close the books, listen to the teacher.
The teacher reads, the students have a dictation.

Listening test:

Xu Qian loves to tell jokes. She is short
and a little bit heavy. She has beautiful long black hair. She never stops
talking.（一学生在黑板上写）

2. Check the answer.

Step4. Reading

Get the students to read and complete the
form.

Reading test:

John: Hello, Tom. Tom: Hello, John.

John: Are you alone? Where is your son?

Tom: He is playing football with my brother
over there.

John: Is that tall and thin boy with short
brown hair your brother?

Tom: No, he isn’t. He is my son. My brother
is tall and he has short curly black hair.

John: What does your son like?

Tom: He likes playing sports very much. He
also likes to tell jokes. He never stops talking.

John: He is a lovely boy. Who is that girl?
She is talking with your son.

Tom: What does she look like?

John: She has long curly blonde hair. She
is medium height and she is thin.

Tom: She is my sister, Lisa. She is a
reporter.

一、自我评价

本课的环节设计较为紧凑，能紧紧围绕教学目标进行教学，并能充分发挥学生的积极主动性，课堂气氛较为活跃。在“描述自己喜爱的明星”这一环节，引发了学生的学习兴趣，使学生能积极地发言，课堂上产生了一个小高潮。本节课较好地完成教学目标，课堂效果良好。

二、教学反思

本堂课也有不足之处：

（1）、学生小组讨论欠热烈。

（2）、组织课堂方面，还欠严密。

（3）、个别环节流于形式，不太实用。

三、
教学重建

在今后的教学中，我觉得应该在以下方面改进：

（1）、不断提高自己驾驭课堂的能力。

（2）、加强小组间的合作。

（3）、多采用灵活的教学方法。

（4）、尽可能的用英语组织教学。
