                               Section A

教学内容分析:

  本课主要学习条件状语从句,评价别人的观点。首先让学生谈论喜欢的运动,引发兴趣,逐步过渡到自行车运动的话题。然后通过一组图片,教学部分新词汇,引出条件状语从句,为学生听1a对话完成1b扫除障碍。为了培养学生辩证地看问题,让学生讨论骑自行车的优缺点。接着让学生读1a对话找出并处理重难点。最后总结归纳,完成本课。

Ⅰ. Teaching aims

Knowledge aims:

(1)Learn some new words and phrases:

   passenger, crazy ,anywhere , pollution, advantage, disagree,  disagree with, rider

2)学习if引导的条件状语从句

2.  Skill aims:

1)能够对别人的观点进行评价。

2)能够听懂含有条件状语从句的句子。

3)能够积极表达自己的观点。

3.  Emotional aims:

   通过学习可以增强学生的安全意识,激励学生热爱自行车运动,倡导“绿色出行,低碳出行”的理念。并让学生积极参与小组活动,多角度分析看待同一事物。

4.  Culture awareness:

一个国家的交通状况也是文化的一种体现。

Ⅱ. The key points and difficult points

1. Key points:

 1)学习if引导的条件状语从句。

 2)表达同意与不同意。

2. Difficult points:   

  正确运用条件状语从句中主句与从句的时态。

Ⅲ. Learning strategies

1. 联系时间状语从句来学习条件状语从句。

2. 学会先听懂文章的大意然后完成任务。

3. 虚心听取别人的意见,但也要勇于开口表达自己的观点。

V. Teaching procedures

Step1 Revision

1. Greeting

2. survey

Let the students make a survey in groups.

 How do you usually come to school?

The teacher makes a summary and leads to the new lesson: Most of us go to school by bike, but can you tell me why do you like riding bicycles?

T: Yes, I agree with you, riding bicycles can make use strong. What about you? .......

Today we are going to learn more about the advantages of Bicycles. Kangkang

Michael, Jane and Darren also like riding bikes to school.

Now let’s look at the picture of 1a and guess: what are they talking about?

 Step 2  Presentation

Now let us watch the flash together.

1. The teacher plays the flash of 1a. Ask the students to watch the flash to know about the general meaning of the conversation, and then check the guess.

2. The teacher plays the flash again and asks the students mark T or F of 1b.

4.Explain the key points and difficult points to the students:

  If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents.

  If you are happy, you will be smile.  

 (If clause uses the present tense, while the main clause uses the future tense.)

5. The teacher lets the students read the dialog and understand the general ideas, then

6. The teacher asks the students to read 1a and write down three advantages of cycling. Encourage them to add their own ideas.

Step 3 Consolidation

Group work:

1.Ask students to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of riding bikes in groups.

Teach the new word disagree by comparing with the word agree.

(1) Offer the expressions:

(2) Cycling can …

(3) It’s easy to …

(4) I agree/ disagree with you. I think…

2. The teacher asks four students from different groups to report their results of discussion.

Tell the students that we should have less waste and learn to protect our environment.

  1. Talk about health and illness.

T:In this lesson, let’s talk about something about health  and illness.

T: How are you feeling today, S1?

S1:I’m fine, thank you, and you?

T: I’m not very well. I think I have a headache.

T: What should I do?

Let the students give some advice by themselves.

Because of the changeable weather,many people get ill.today,we are going to learn some words and phrases about illness.

2.Then show the pictures to learn new words and phrases.

Through the pictures lead out the sentence patterns“What’s wrong with them?”Then teach the new words and phrases.

3.let the students read the new words and phrases by themselves and then play a game to guess them

The game is that: one student makes actions,and the other students guess what the phrase is.

4. Practice the sentence patterns.

   First practice the sentences patterns together and then compare you/her/him/them,find out the pronouns we should use their object forms..

   Let the students practice the dialog and learn to change the personal pronouns.

5.listen and answer

 T: There’s something wrong with Kangkang. What is it? Please listen to the dialog in 1a, then answer the following questions:

(1) What’s wrong with Kangkang?

(2) What should he do?

 check the answer

ƒlisten again and read after it.

Step 3 Consolidation

 Let the student read by themselves and then read in pairs

  act out the dialog in pairs.

 ƒPractice the sentence patterns of I/He/She/You should +V

   And sum up the usage of “should”.

Step 4  Practice

  Do the exercise to practice the usage of should.and let  student learn to give suggestions.  

 First, the students should choose the answer,then they can read or make dialog according to these sentences.

 Step 5  Project

  1.Choosing Dr.best.

  The game is “Who is the best doctor?”,let the students make a new dialog based 1a. Suppose one is a doctor, the other one  is a patient.and the doctor should give some suggestions to the patient.

  2.Homework:

     Write out three kinds of illness,and give the suggestions   about the illness,at least three kinds of illness.  

Doing sports as often as you can to keep your body healthy  in your free time.
