Unit 8  Our dreams  

教学内容:Story time

教学目标

1. 能听懂、会读、会说dream, future, care about, tooth, astronaut, spaceship, football player, World cup, dancer, pianist, come true

2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语What do you want to be?I want to be 

3. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文

4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论梦想。

5.创设情境进行教学,激发学生的求知欲和表现力,激发学生心怀梦想并付诸努力。

教学重难点

1.能熟练使用句型What do you want to be in the future?并掌握其回答方式进行操练,并正确地理解课文,朗读课文。

2.培养学生的发散性思维和语言表达能力。

教学过程

Step 1 Lead-in

Watch  a  filmMartin morning

T:  Have you watched a film Martin morning?

Every morning, When Martin wakes up,a new character is waiting and something unusual  happens. Martins  morning is full of extraordinary.  Thats  his dream. So magic! Shall we begin our topic?

Step 2 Presentation  

1、教师出示自己的照片I want to be a teacher when I was a child. Now my dream comes true. Im your English teacher. Today we talk about dreams.(揭题)

2Miss Li  and her students are talking about their dreams, too.

What does she ask? 带读:What do you want to be? Listen. How do they answer? Watch the cartoon and try to catch the main ideas.

3 Listen and check

4Read and underline:   All of them have their dreams. Lets  read carefully about the boys dreams. Open your books and underline  the boys  dreams.(板书男孩头像)(相机板书词组)

Tell me Mikes dream.  Who cares about his teeth? He has clean and beautiful teeth. Read with pride.模仿Mike自豪的语气。

学习astronaut. Do you know spaceship? Who flies the spaceship to the space? astronauts  Do you know astronautsArmstrong became the first astronaut to walk on the moon in 1969.  In 2003Yang Li wei took the Shen Zhou five spaceship into the space for the first time. He is Chinese. Read his dream.

In the world cup There are many students in our school. (出示我校输入市队、省队足球队员)We are proud of them. There are some football players in our class .

评价男孩子们的梦想:T: What do you think of their dreams? Yes, Miss Li says : Your dreams are great.(板书大拇指)

5Read their dreams after the tape correctly.

6 What about girls dreams?(板书女孩头像) Make a poem in groups according to the passage.(相机板书词组)

 Whats  Miss Lis  dream?  Miss Li :  I want to see your dreams come true.(板书树叶形状的板书:come true)

7Try to retell the students dreams  according to the phrases.

Step3. Consolidation

过渡:Dream is like sunshine in our hearts. It makes our life shining. It makes our future hopeful.  Hold to your dreams, and try to make it come true!

Write down your dreams(音乐)

Group leader put your dreams into the bottle.

2How can you make your dreams come true?

学生畅所欲言,教师总结:Diligence resolution education ability major组成dream

Today, you put your dreams into the bottle, you should keep your dream in your mind and work hard for them.

3Do you know my dream now? The same as Miss Lis,  I want to see your dreams come true.  Heres  a dream tree. It grows up. Twenty years later, let’s open the dream bottle and see whose dreams come true.

Step4Homework:  1Know more about celebrities’(名人) dreams.

教学反思

本课的话题是“我的梦想”,旨在通过此话题的讨论,引导学生树立正确的价值观,心怀梦想并为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗。课文围绕“小学阶段的学习即将结束,Miss Li和学生们在一起畅谈梦想”而展开。学生们各抒己见,畅所欲言,表达了对美好未来的向往。

教师注意了对词汇相关文化内涵的介绍,对学生进行了正面教育。如在学习an astronautfootball player时,我特地向学生展示了中国宇航员和学校运动员的图片让学生了解让我们为之自豪的人物,更要让他们知道他们在成功的道路上一定付出了许多汗水。

二、通过自然的问答教学学生能通过诗歌写作等形式表达自己的梦想面对如此多的职业,学着根据自己的兴趣和特长,认真思考自己的职业规划,为未来早做打算,走好人生的每一步。

三、通过猜教师的梦想渗透德育在学生说好自己的梦想后,猜测老师的梦想,I want to see your dreams come true希望学生们努力学习,否则梦想将落空。

小学英语课堂的成功提倡注重学科本身,从学得后产生的成功体验来不断滋长兴趣,挖掘学生学习的内驱力。
