Unit 5 what does he do ? 一、教学内容 A Let’s learn Listen,match and say 二、教学目标 1.能够听.说.读.写单词:factory worker、postman、businessman、police officer 2.能够听、说、认读:“What does your / XX’s mother/father /she/he do?”并能在情景中运用。 3.培养学生热爱生活,尊重他人劳动, 并能构思自己的职业梦想。 三、教学重难点 重点是掌握Part A Let's learn的四种职业的英文表达,并能简单回答、介绍。难点是帮助学生用本课时所学单词和句型表达自己的职业理想。 四、课前准备 单词卡片、多媒体课件、视频材料 五、教学过程 Step 1:Warm-up 1. 闪答(单词卡片快速出示以前学过的职业类单词 doctor , teacher , nurse , driver , farmer,学生看三秒中进行抢答。) 2.用学过的“What’s your father/mother ? He/She is a….”句型对刚复习的单词卡片进行快问快答。 Step 2:Presentation Let’s learn 1.课件出示课本中Mr Jhones的照片,做出介绍:“This is Mr Jhones.What’s his job(工作)?”以此提问 “What does he do?”(板书重点句型),引导学生回答:“He’s a teacher.”然后课件出示学校中的几位老师Mr Luo、Mr xu、Miss Chen…,以此反复操练新句型What does …do? He/She is a teacher. 2.Play the PPT and show students the new words:factory worker、postman、businessman、police officer. Teach these new words one by one. 3. 播放视频片段It’s a career day. Zhang Peng and Oliver are talking about their father in front of the display board. What does Oliver’s father do? Can you guess? Is he a factory worker/ postman/ police officer/ businessman? Now let’s have a look! Yes, Oliver’s father is a businessman. Step 3: Practice. 1. Listen to the tape. Follow the tape. 2.Play the PPT. Play a game:What’s missing?让学生复习巩固新单词。 3.以Let’s learn对话为模板,小组开火车形式,练说句型。(用本课 新职业单词替换)。 4. Listen,match and say. 1. Talk about the pictures one by one. 2. Listen and match. 3. Check the answers. 4. Look and say. What does Jiao Jie’s/ Zhou Jia’s mother do? What does Ge Nan’s father/ Liu Qian’s father do? He/ She is a… Step 4: Homework. Reading and writing: Words: factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer Sentence patterns: What does he do? He is a businessman. 六、板书设计 Unit5 What does he do? What does he/she do? He/she is a businessman / businesswoman. postman / postwoman. police officer / factory worker.
