Module3 On Monday I'll go swimming

一、教学目标:

  1、1  知识目标

  1)基本能够听懂,会说,会读词汇:Sunday,Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, help, homework

   2) 学会用“On  Monday I’ll go swimming.”以及“Will you play football on Monday? Yes, I will./ No, I won’t.”的语言结构。

  1、2  技能目标:讨论一周七天的计划。

  1、3  情感态度:培养孩子们热爱大自然的情怀。

 二、教学重点:

   1) 正确拼写从星期一至星期天的英语单词。

   2) 学会用“On Monday  I’ll go swimming.”等的语言结构。

 三、教学难点:灵活、正确运用本课的句子。

 四、教学用具:教学卡片、磁带、录音机,挂图等。

  Teaching Steps:

  Step1: Warmer

  1、课前播放歌曲:Monday Tuesday…,渲染英语学习气氛。(学生可以试着跟唱)

  2、Greetings

  T: Good morning , children.

  Ss: Good morning, Mr Yang.

  T: How are you today?

  Ss:I’m fine,thanks . And how about you?

  T:I’m fine,too. Thank you very much.

  T: What day is it today? Is it Sunday today? Ss: No,it isn’t.

  T: Is it Monday today? Ss: Yes, today is Monday.

  T: How do you feel now? Are you happy? Ss: Yes.

  T: Great! Come on! Let’s do some actions, ok? Ss: OK!

  3、Listen and do the actions. —--go swimming/read some

  books/row a boat/fly a kite/ride a bike/play football /draw some pictures/watch TV…

  4、Say a rhyme

  English, English, A, B, C.

  Maths, Maths, one, two, three.

  Chinese, Chinese, write and read.

  Art, Art, draw and sing.

  PE, PE, run and swim.

  Step2: Presentation

  1、 T:How many days are three in a week?(教师首先带领学生一边指着周历一边数天数: one day, two days, three days, four days, five days, six days, seven days)Seven days is a week

  Ss:There are seven days in a week.(利用图片和身体语言启发学生说出)

  2、 教师把单词卡贴在黑板上,和学生一起从“Sunday”至 “Monday”朗读单词。(按照国际惯例,星期天为一周的第一天,而星期六则为一周的最后一天。我们平时所说的工作日,指从周一至周五,而周六和周日则是被称作周末weekend.)

3、 1)引导学生仔细观察,找出它们都含有 day的规律。

 2)将Tuesday和Thursday 进行比较记忆。

  Tomorrow is….

  yesterday/today/tomorrow

  T: Today is Monday.

  What day is tomorrow? Tomorrow is Tuesday.

  4、Game1:单词接龙

  T:Class,let’s play a game,ok? Ss:OK!

  T: Monday. S1: Tuesday. S2: Wednesday. S3:…

  T: Great! You did a good job. Now everybody please do we do.

  S1:Monday S2: Tuesday S3: Wednesday S4:…

  (请一组六名同学和教师共同配合做示范,再由学生以小组为单位练习,然后四个小组进行比赛,看哪个组说得又快又准确,由老师给该小组加分。)

  5、Game2:开火车

  T: Boys and girls, let’s play another game. Ss: Great!

  S1: Today is Monday and tomorrow is Tuesday.

  S2: Today is Tuesday and tomorrow is Wednesday.

  S3: Today is Wednesday and ….

6、教师在黑板上绘制一个表示一周七天的表格,指着表格说“I’ll play football on Monday. I’ll read my books on Tuesday…..”边说边配合动作帮助学生理解。

  1)T:今天,同学们要为自己一周的学习和课外活动制定一个计划,然后进行讨论。在这之前,大家先来看一看Shanshan一周的计划,学习一下相关的语言。Now, we’re going to listen to the tape and then answer my questions.

  2)全班同学听课文磁带,并用笔勾画每句话中的动作: go swimming, play with friends, go to the park, do homework, visit  grandma, help mother, read books. (教师和学生一边做动作一边学习)

  3)结合一周七天的表格,列出Shanshan一周的计划。

  Questions:

  1) What will Shanshan do on Monday?

    On Monday she’ll go swimming.

  2) What will Shanshan do on Friday?

    On Friday she’ll visit her grandma.

  Step3:Practice

  Point and say (课本P13 活动5)

  T: What will you do on Monday?

  S1: On Monday I’ll do my homework.

  S2: On Tuesday I’ll play football.

  S3: On Wednesday I’ll have Maths.

  S4: On Thursday I’ll have Science.

  S5: On Friday I’ll fly my kite.

  Step 4: Production

  Pair work(完成调查表,课本P13 活动6)

  T: Will you read some books on Sunday? Ss:Yes, I will.

1)A: Will you play football on Monday? B: No, I won’t.

2)A: Will you go swimming on Saturday? B: Yes, I will.

  Step5: Cooler

  1、Sing a song --- Monday Tuesday…..

  2、T: Time is up. Class is over. See you!

  Ss: See you later!

  Homework:

  1、听磁带朗读课文20分钟。

  2、抄写本课单词,并要求会听写。

  3、回家后把歌曲唱给爸爸妈妈听。

  4、采访调查:询问同学或朋友本周末的计划,填入自己设计的表格中。
