 1.To spell and apply the new words accurately;  


 2.To master the use of the sentences.


三、Teaching Procedures(教学步骤)


Step1. to greet as usual


Step2. to dictate and to learn new words in this unit


Step3. to set examples to tell differences between China and Western countries


     (1) the greeting habits


     (2) the order of first name and last name


Step4.to work on 1aWrite English words for the things in the picture


Cup, orange ,book…


Step5. to work on 1b Listening 


T: Now let’s listen to the tape, and number the conversations 1-3. ( Play the recording for the first time, Ss only listen. )

     Play the recording for the first time, Ss only listen. Then play a second time, Ss number the conversations.


2. Ask the Ss to practice the conversations above with a partner. Then use their own names to practice instead of the names given.


3. Close your books and listen again, complete the conversations.
