作业要求:

请参训教师结合线上学习和校本实践,根据自身实际教学情况及课程学习,运用所学知识,设计和实施一次以展示“新课标和核心素养”为目的的教学活动,并将教学活动设计、实施与反思以文稿的形式提交至平台。

第一课时教学设计

Ⅰ. Material analysis

本节课将用一课时完成,主要活动为1a2a

1a呈现了在前两课中多次提到的音乐剧The Sound of Music的故事梗概,让学生了解了这部经典的影片的大致故事情节,学习年轻活泼的女主人公Maria积极乐观的生活态度,和通过音乐表达出来的对孩子的爱心,对生活的热爱和面对困难时对理想的锲而不舍的精神。学生在阅读引人入胜的电影故事的同时自然地丰富他们的语言积累,在运用中继续学习linking verb+adjective这一结构的表达。  课后要求学生写一篇关于自己最喜欢的电影英文介绍作文,学习一些英文歌的演唱,旨在培养学生学会对优秀影视作品的欣赏,拥有积极乐观的生活态度。

1)学习并掌握新词汇

2)学生能正确识别“linking verb+ adjective”结构。

3)学生能在表格的帮助下复述本课课文,简单地介绍影片大意。

V Teaching procedures

Step one: review

Let students translate the phrases to review the linking verb+ adjective’ structure:

(this is a whole class work, the time required is about 2 minutes.)

感到失望               feel disappointed

似乎不快乐             seem unhappy

看上去很兴奋           look excited

味道可口               taste delicious

闻着香                 smell nice

听起来很棒             sound great;

Step two: leading-in

(time required is about 5 minutes.)

 

Greet students and get them ready for learning. Sing the song DO RE MI’ with students to arouse their interests in English learning.

After singing, ask students the question below and give the answer, in order to let students, pay attention to the new word lively.

Step three: Presentation (3 minutes)

1.Let students look at the pictures on the screen and guess what the text is about.

At the same time, introduce some background knowledge about this movie.

2.ask one student to read the words in the box and guess the main idea of the text.

Step three: while-reading (5 minutes)

Ask students to read 1a with these questions:

1.why did Maria go to the Von Trapp family?

2.Why were the family sad and tired?

3.How did Maria cheer up the children?

Step four: intensive-reading (3 minutes)

Read 1a and complete the table.

Paragraph 1

Step five: explanation (2 minutes)

Step seven: pair work (6 minutes)

Let students work with their classmates, discuss about the questions below:

Suppose you are Michael. Interview Mr. Brown about The Sound of Music with the help of the questions below and the text.

1. What kind of movie is it?

2. How does the music sound?

3. What is it mainly about?

4. What happens in the movie?

For example:

A: Hello, MichaelDid you go to see    

       the movie, The Sound of Music, yesterday?

B:  Yes.

A: What do you think of it?

B:  I think it's interesting and

exciting.

       .........

Step eight: summary (2 minutes)

Summary the key points we have learnt today:

1. Words and phrases:

lively, lonely, almost, cheer up

2.The sentences of expressing feelings:

The father was lonely and often became angry because of the noisy children.

The father was almost mad at first.

We can Talk about our favorite movies.

3.Use linking verbs + adjectives to express our feelings.

Learn English by singing English songs.

 

Step nine: Homework (1 minutes)

Write an article about your favorite movies and learn to sing some English songs.

 Find some information about Beijing Opera such as its facial painting, stories, and so on.
