Step 1 Lead-in (5 minutes)

  The teacher ask some questions about the proof reading.

  Q1:Boys and girls, is it difficult for you to correct errors in a passage? Can you get a high mark? Today we will learn the methods to get a high mark!

  Q2:How much do you know these?

Q3:According to the exams these years, we have this conclusion.Do you know?

(Justification设计意图: To arouse the students’ curiosity to know the methods. )

1)定语从句

 Step 3 Important and difficult methods.

 考点一:谓语动词和非谓语动词

 1、辨别谓语与非谓语动词。谓语动词考察时态和语态。非谓语动词要判断在句中所作成分以及和逻辑主语的逻辑关系,来判断其形式是过去分词还是现在分词。

2、作主语或宾语不能用动词原形,要改为动名词形式。牢记只能接动名词作宾语的动词 (avoid 避免,consider 认为, deny 否认,    enjoy 喜欢,   risk 冒险, suggest 建议...)。

3、掌握介宾标志。to为介词的短语(get used to习惯于,be addicted to沉溺于,look forward to盼望,stick to坚持...)。

4、注意动词不定式符号to的多余或缺失。ask sb. to do; help sb. (to) do。

考点二:冠词的运用

1、以辅音音素开头的单词前面用不定冠词a;以元音音素开头的单词前面用不定冠词an。再次提到或者双方都知道的用the。

2、常用固定搭配必须牢记。例如:

all of a sudden,in a hurry,pay a visit to,by the way,in a word,to tell the truth,by accident,as a result,in a way,on the whole,at present,in advance,by accident,by chance,on purpose,ahead of time...

Exercises:

1.As result,the plants are growing somewhere.

2.The person who found a ticket smiled with pleasure at his success.

3.That day I didn't learn much about animals,insects or trees,but I learnt a impressive lesson about gravity!

考点三:定语从句和名词性从句错用

1、确定从句类型、搞清句子结构是关键

定语从句中关系代词/关系副词的选择和名词性从句中引导词的选择取决于句子缺少何种成分和意义是否完整。要分析句子结构。

2、重点关注定语从句与名词性从句中的易考点

①that不能引导非限制性定语从句;

②that在名词性从句中不充当任成分,没有含义,只能在宾语从句中省略;但在定语从句中可充当主语和宾语,且充当宾语时可省略。

③what是连接代词,引导名词性从句并在从句中作主语、宾语或表语。

2.I hope I will find a job in an advertisement company which I will enjoy my work and get along well with my colleagues.

3.The dishes what I cooked were Mom’s favorite.

Step 4 Conclusion and summary(5 minutes )

Ask one student to act as an assistant teacher to guide others to summarize what they have learned in this class. And then give a conclusion about this lesson.Then let the student grasp the methods to do the passage.

Reflection after class:

After this class I find some students can not analyze the sentences correctly. I will enhance the sentence structure analysis. At the same time, students’ group work is successful, they like the group task and cooperation. The teacher still prepares class more carefully and thoughtfully and learn more interesting methods about teaching.
