《中西方婚礼文化差异》教学设计

一．教学内容：

本节课是校本教材教学成果《中西方婚礼文化差异》，学生对教学内容容易产生兴趣。婚俗是文化风俗的重要组成部分。对于中西方婚礼文化来讲,两者有着自己不同的特点。由于全球融合趋势的影响,许多分歧阻碍了人们的交流.因此,我们必须了解不同的文化,促进交流与融合。婚姻是社会生活的重要组成部分,因此我们可以以婚礼文化为突破口,探讨中国与西方国家传统婚礼文化的差异，从而了解中外传统文化和历史背景，加强人们对中西方历史的学习，提高英语水平和开阔视野促进中西方文化的交流与融合。  

二．教学目标：

1、培养学生主动了解并关注英语国家文化以及东西文化之间的差异；

2、扩展学生知识面，拓宽学生国际视野，提升学生文化修养。

三． 教学重点：

培养学生有意识地去关注英语国家文化以及东西文化之间的差异。

四．课前准备：

1、多媒体放映设备；

2、准备有关中国婚礼和西方婚礼的音乐；

3、从网络下载有关中西方婚礼的典型图片；

五．教学过程：

Part1.  Lead-in(课堂导入）

1.用婚礼音乐和图片导入课题。

2.师问：Have you been to a wedding Party?

    What kind of wedding party have you been to?

  学生从图片中选择答案：Traditional Chinese weddings

Modern Chinese weddings   Group weddings     western weddings

3.学生齐读西方教堂婚礼誓词：

     West Wedding In church   "To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part".

   （从今天开始, 无论顺境、逆境;无论贫穷还是富有;无论健康还是疾病,都不能将我们分开,直到生命的最后一天。）

 Listen to the tape carefully and decide the sentences are true or false.

Part4.Discussion（学生分组讨论）

What will happen before/during/after ceremony?

(1)Before the wedding ceremony

The bridegroom has to ask the bride’s father for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

(2)During the wedding ceremony

The best man should help put crowns made of flowers on the heads of the couple.

A long silk ribbon that links the crowns is a symbol of a long and happy life for the couple.

(3)After the wedding ceremony

The guests can attend a wedding reception.

Guests can throw dishes on the floor and put money on the bride’s dress for good luck.

The party can last through the night.

【句意】在教堂婚礼上，伴郎要帮忙把花冠戴在新娘、新郎头上。

 = …help put crowns which are made of flowers… 动词的过去分词可后置定语,也可以转换成被动语态的定语从句。
