 Lesson 4 Understanding  

教学设计

(高二英语组王铃玉)

教学目标

  1.语言知识目标:通过对课文的阅读,帮助学生学会积累有关老师对学生的评价的词汇如lack confidence, lazy, particularly willing, cooperative, extremely bright及学生对老师的评价的词汇如my inspiration, full of enthusiasm, make everything interesting, build up my confidence等,并运用于听、说、读、写活动中;学会wish should 表达遗憾或建议的语法知识。

 2.语言技能目标:培养和提高阅读能力,归纳能力,形成用英语口头和书面评论老师或同学的表达能力,以及对人物评论类文章的表达思路和行文逻辑的规律。

 3.文化意识极其情感态度目标:通过对课文学习,引导学生对新课标要求下的好老师和好学生的评价标准,及师生关系的思考。

 4.学习策略目标:注重引导学生借助上下文情景联想和推断Comprehensive, difficult等的词义;根据构词法猜测rebellious, unwilling等的词义。

教学重点

通过让学生猜测本班同学在老师眼中的表现和学生对本人(学生的英语老师)的表现评价来引入,意在引起学生的对话题的兴趣,及其运用所学过的表示人物性格的confident, extremely bright,lazy等形容词来描述,同时通过情景引出lack confident, particularly willing and cooperative, rebellious等词汇,为下面的阅读作好铺垫。

 教学难点

快速阅读和细节阅读理解部分设计呈梯度的回答题及选择题等练习形式来帮助学生理解课文。其中的题目如The sentence “I know I shouldn’t be rebellious ” shows that______ From“The government should give more money for science education.”We know that _______等旨在帮助学生加深对课文的全面理解,为学习本课语法wishshould 表示后悔和建议作出铺垫。为了帮助学生有效获取、分析、归纳课文所蕴涵的信息,课文My teacher  My student分解阅读,每一篇都设计fast-reading通过individual work,further reading通过pair work 逐让学生对课文有清晰的理解。考虑到学生的基础实际,summary部分通过group work设计了语法填空形式来进行,目的是帮助学生回忆和巩固课文的内容,让他们有信心参与逐步深入的活动,为下一步的采访活动作好铺垫。

教学内容:高二(北师大版)必修五


Unit 15 Lesson4 Understanding  


本节课目标明确,重点突出,条理清晰,同时在活动设计上充分考虑了学生的认知水平和兴趣所在,因此整个课堂学生都能积极参与,真正做到融入课堂,融入课文,更好地理解课文,掌握重点知识。


首先核对学案单词短语部分的答案检查预习效果,然后对这部分出习题检测学生能否正确运用所学知识。因为本班是智慧课堂班,所以利用小平板当堂向学生发题,可以查看每位学生的掌握情况。这个很好的体现了科技对教育的影响,给教育教学带来的便利。


因为翻译句子一直是学生的难点,所以让学生以讨论的形式确认答案,让学生思维活跃,激烈讨论,使得课堂气氛更加热烈,极大地激发了学生的参与热情。在翻译环节中先讨论然后小组代表上黑板呈现答案并且实行小组加分制。极大的提升了学生们的动力和积极性。最后利用微课视频,让学生更好的掌握It做形式主语的用法。


然而由于时间分配上有所欠缺,因此各个环节完成地太过匆忙,没能给予学生充分的锻炼机会和展示空间。     


通过这节精读课,我意识到在今后的课文精读教学中应更加注意以下几点:    


1.精读前的泛读活动应尽量让学生多读课文,熟悉课文,以充分理解文章。     


2.教学中应不仅注重阅读内容,更应注重阅读方法的培养,在此基础上对让学生提出更高的要求,熟记单词短语并会学以致用。另外对于“以读促写”的方式也值得在今后教学中探索与运用。           


3.学生有无限的创造力和活跃的思维,因此教师应当尽可能为其提供锻炼和展示的机会。    


在今后的英语教学中,我应更好地把握每个环节的时间,以给予学生更多的展示空间。同时还应该不断反思,以不断改进自己的教学。
