 I. Teaching aims:

  1. Learn some new words and phrases:

    Captain, lead, compass, sailing, coast, unfortunately, succeed in doing sth, birth, trade, be proud of.

  3. Know about some famous persons in China’s history, enhance  students’ pride in our Chinese culture and cultivate their patriotism.
