教学内容 五年级下册Unit5 Read and write
教学目标: 1、能够在图片的帮助下读懂故事,并能正确地朗读。
2、能够运用核心句型完成句子,描述动物正在做的动作。
3、能够理解生词excited和like在语境中的意思。
4、能够在单线上正确、规范地书写句子。
教学过程:
Step 1 warm up
1、 课件出示几个动物正在做某件事情。如: climbing、walking、 flying、runnin、eating.让学生直观快速说出单词并介绍The monkey is climbing. The elephant is walking. The bird is flying. The tiger is running. The rabbits are eating.
Step 2 presentation
1、课件出示这些动物和更多的动物,让学生说出动物名称。这时老师说:I want to be a rabbit. I don't want to be an elephant.引导学生说:I want to be a/an______. I don't want to be a/an________.
2、课件出示文本图(没文本内容),老师提问:Who is she? S: Sarah. Who is he? S: Robin. Where are Sarah and Robin? 让学生快速阅读在文中找出答案并画出句子Sarah and Robin are at the zoo. 师问How do the feel? 也让学生快速阅读在文中找出答案并画出该句子Robin is excited!
教授单词excited.
3、 师问:What animal can you see?点学生回答:I can see a/an... I can see two...s.
4、师:Wow, so many animals. What animal does Robin want to be? What animal doesn't Robin want to be? 让学生快速阅读在文中找出答案并画出句子I want to be a bird. T:Why? S: I like flying.让学生理解like在这里的意思是“喜欢”I don't want to be a fish. T:Why? 让学生思考,不会用英语回答,也可以用中文。
5、T: What are the animals doing? 让学生圈出含有ing的动词。如:dancing, eating, running, walking, climbing, flying引导学生描述: The bear is dancing. The rabbits are eating. The tiger is running. The elephant is walking. The monkey is climbing.
The bird is flying.
6、T: What is Robin doing? 让学生继续找、圈出单词looking,学生也回答说刚刚找的动物正在做的 Robin也正在模仿做。让学生理解每幅图中like的意思是“像”。
Step 3 Post-reading
1、Answerthe questions
让学生完成P53页下面的填空,完成输出。
2、listen and read
3、role play Sarah: What are you doing here, Robin?
Robin: I’m looking at a/an ____. I’m _____ like a/an_____ .
Sarah: Do you want to be a/an ______ .
Robin:Yes, I want to be a/an ______ .
/No! No! I don’t want to be a/an _____ .
Step 4 Homework
(1) Retell the story to your parents and friends.
(2) Think and write: What do you want to be?
