 We are having a picnic.

【教学目标】

1.To enable the Ss to understand and speak new words and new sentences: I’m at the ... with my... ./We are having a picnic./ The weather is ... /XXX is ...ing...

2.Make sure they can describe their activities；

3.To train the Ss’ ability of working in group；

3.To help the Ss learn more about picnic and give some tips.

4.To teach Students love and spend more time with family and friends.

New words: family   at the beach    have a picnic

New Sentences: I’m at the ... with my... ./We are having a picnic./ The weather is ... /XXX is ...ing... .

 1、The meaning of the new words and pronounce.

Step1

T: Do you like outdoor activities? Yes. Spring has arrived. Our friend Fangfang is going out with her family,too .Now, please watch a vedio and answer the questions.

Step 2 Q1.What’s the weather like?

Input: The weather is good. It’s sunny and warm.

(Show two different pictures about weather)

T: Look , the weather is good. But look at this picture, the weather is bad. Which one do you like?

Ss: Good weather.

T: Why?

Ss: I can go out with my family. ...

Tips: So when the weather is good, spend more time to go out with your family and friends!

Step2 Q1.Where are Fangfang and her family?

Input:   At the beach  

I'm at the beach with my family.

Make sentences:

I'm at the beach with ... .

I’m at the ... With ... .

Step4 Q3.What are they doing?

Input:   having a picnic.  ( show some pictures)

We are having a picnic.

T: What should we take to a picnic ? Ask Ss to have a discuss and then give some tips.
