Step 3 Cooperation

Task 1 Listen to the tape and read the passage on Page7, then answer the following questions.

Q1:How many stories are there in the passage?

Two.       Niulang and Zhinu

               Li Fang and Hu Jin

Task 2 Skim the passage and then fill in the blanks.

Another narrative story about  Li Fang  and  Hu Jin  on Valentines Day  

 

Task 3 Decide whether they are true or false.

1.Because the goddesss most lovely granddaughter got married to a human secretly, she got very angry.(      )

2.Zhinv was made to return to Heaven without her husband. They were allowed to meet once a year on the seventh day of the tenth lunar month.(      )

3.Hu Jin had been waiting for Li Fang for a long time with a gift for him.(      )

Step 4 Presentation

Task 1

Do you know something more about Valentine's Day or Qiqiao Festival? Can you retell the story about Niulang and Zhinv?

Task 2

Write down your own ending to the story.Work in pairs and act them out.

Step 5 Summary and testing

Task 1:Discussion:What do you think of the story? Why?
