Unit 4 At the farm
Part A Let’s learn&Let’s chant
教学目标：
1.能听、说、认读4个有关蔬菜的单词和短语：tomato, potato, carrot, green beans。
2.能够在语境中正确运用这4个单词的复数形式描述蔬菜。
3.能够在图片的帮助下听懂并跟唱歌谣；能够替换关键词编创新的歌谣。
教学重点:
能听、说、认读4个有关蔬菜的单词：tomato, potato, carrot, green beans。
教学难点：
能够在语境中正确运用tomato，potato，carrot，green beans这4个单词和短语的复数形式描述蔬菜。
教学准备：
教学挂图、单词卡片、教学课件、教学光盘
教学过程：
Step1:Warm-up
1.课件呈现水果图片，如苹果、梨、橘子等，问Are these…?请学生用Yes,they are.或No,they aren’t.进行判断。
2.表演Let’s talk对话。
Step2:Presentation
1.对话表演完，教师问：What do Mike and Sarah see at the farm?学生回答：Tomatoes and carrots.
2.教师出示carrots的卡片问：What are they?What colour are they?Are they big or small?学生回答。教师适时板书：carrots和They’re…
3.教师出示一个和几个西红柿的图片，教学单词tomato和tomatoes。
教师运用句型Look at the…They’re…示范描述tomatoes或carrots,学生选择其一进行描述。
4.教师在单词tomato旁边板书 o a o然后读单词potato,让学生根据发音规则填出三个辅音字母，并拼读potato.由“破土而出”帮助学生记忆potato就是“土豆、马铃薯”。并提示复数变化也是加“es”变成potatoes。
5.教师出示豆类图片和单词bean，引导学生尝试拼读。然后出示扁豆图片，问：What colour are they?请学生回答：They are green.
教师接着说：Yes,they are green beans. Are they short? Ss: No, they aren’t.
6. 播放Let’s learn录音，学生跟读，学习正确的语音语调。
Step3:Consolidation and extension
1.学习Let’s chant。
（1）教师展示Let’s chant。部分图片，并提问：Do you like tomatoes/potatoes? What do you like? How about onions?展示洋葱，并板书：But onions make me cry.
（2）教师播放chant光盘，学生边听边感知节奏，并跟唱。
（3）学生小组表演Let’s chant部分的内容,教师表扬优秀小组。
（4）学生根据自己的实际情况改编chant,并说唱给朋友听。
2.教师出示单词卡片，让学生开火车认读单词，并运用句型They’re …尝试描述特征。
3.用本课4个单词的复数形式描述蔬菜。
Step4:Homework
将所学新单词抄写在四线三格里。
