【教学目标】

能够掌握下列词汇：

形容词adj. different, lucky, popular;
动词v. answer, blow, will

(5)短语 around the world, get popular, blow out, cut up, bring good luck to.学生能够理解运用本课重点句型：Would you like...? We have...for... You can try our... … is very good delicious.
2. 能够根据上下文猜词理解阅读文章，能够通过阅读短文使学生了解不同国家的人过生日时不同的饮食文化。
3. 了解世界各地的饮食文化、生日文化等，使学生们具有初步的世界文化观念。

T: Do you know what people like to eat on their birthday in other countries? Let’s read the article in 2b together.
（设计意图：通过和学生讨论生日时吃什么、做什么，自然过渡到阅读部分，并设下悬念，即在其他国家人们过生日喜欢吃什么，导入自然流畅，所设悬念能充分调动孩子的兴趣。）

阅读指导：首先，读这四个问题，记住这四个问题。其次，带着问题去仔细阅读短文，并在短文中寻找相关问题的回答依据。然后，根据相关依据，写出问题的答案。

（设计意图：让学生带着问题阅读，明确要求，然后细读全文，获取想要信息。本环节的4个问题能够帮助学生对文章形成整体理解。只有读懂文章才能正确回答问题。应在本环节着重强调问答题的答题技巧。）
