Unit10 Section B2a-2c 教案

【教学目标】

  1. 能够掌握下列词汇:

  2. 名词n. world, cake, candle, age, the UK, candy, idea, answer;

  3. 形容词adj. different, lucky, popular;

  4. 动词v. answer, blow, will

  5. 连词conj. if;

     (5)短语 around the world, get popular, blow out, cut up, bring good luck to.学生能够理解运用本课重点句型:Would you like...? We have...for... You can try our... … is very good delicious.

    2. 能够根据上下文猜词理解阅读文章,能够通过阅读短文使学生了解不同国家的人过生日时不同的饮食文化。

    3. 了解世界各地的饮食文化、生日文化等,使学生们具有初步的世界文化观念。

    【教学重难点】

    重点:学会根据所读内容整理表格信息。

    难点:理解较长文章的大意,学会回答问题。

    【新课导入】

    Step I: Lead-in

    Discuss the questions in class.

    When is your birthday?

    What do you do on your birthday?

    What do you eat on your birthday?

    Student A: Have a birthday party.

    Student B: Get some gifts from family and friends.

    Student C: Eat a birthday cake.

    Student D: Eat out

    T: Do you know what people like to eat on their birthday in other countries? Let’s read the article in 2b together.

    设计意图:通过和学生讨论生日时吃什么、做什么,自过渡到阅读部分,并设下悬念,即在其他国家人们过生日喜欢吃什么,导入自然流畅,所设悬念能充分调动孩子的兴趣。)

    Step 2: pre- reading

    Look at the picture in 2b, the title and the chart below article, then guess:

    What is the main idea of the article?

    设计意图:通过观察非文本信息,猜测概括文章大意,这是学生应该具备的阅读技巧与阅读习惯,有助于学生理解章。)

    Step 3: While reading

    1. Skimming

    What does the passage mention(提到)

    设计意图:在对本文大意有所猜测的情况下速读全文,能提高学生速读的速度,并可以忽略一部分生词的干扰,帮l学生树立阅读信心。)

阅读指导:首先,读这四个问题,记住这四个问题。其次,带着问题去仔细阅读短文,并在短文中寻找相关问题的回答依据。然后,根据相关依据,写出问题的答案。

(设计意图:让学生带着问题阅读,明确求,然后细读全文,获取想要信息。本环节的4个问题能够帮助学生对文章形成整体理解。只有读懂文章才能正确回答问题。应在本环节着重强调问答题的答题技巧。)

(3) Read the article carefully and find out the difficulties. Work in groups. The teacher can provide some help if necessary. Pay attention to the important phrases: around the world, the number of, make a wish, blow out, in one go, come true, get popular, cut up, a symbol of long life, bring good luck to.
