Teaching goals: words: thirtyhurryready get upgo to school

Sentences:  --What time is it ?

                      -- It’s six thirty. It’s time to get up.

Teaching procedure :

Step 1: Greeting

 T: Good morning ,boys and girls. I’m a English teacher, Miss Xie . Let’s say “hello”,ok?

 Ss : Ok!

 T:  Hello,boys and girls .

 Ss : Hello, Miss Xie.

T: Nice to meet you !

Ss: Nice to meet you ,too !

T: What’s this in English? (展示一面钟)

Ss : It’s a clock.

Step 2: warm-up :  clock

  Tick tock, tick tock,Oh, what time is it ?

  It’s three o’clock.

Tick tock, tick tock,Oh, what time is it ?

 It’s six o’clock.

Tick tock, tick tock,Oh, what time is it ?

 It’s nine o’clock.

Tick tock, tick tock,Oh, what time is it ?

 It’s twelve o’clock.

Yearh, You’re a super clock.(表扬同学们做的很棒)

Step 3 : Revision

Review the words and sentences of the last lesson:

Words: breakfast, English class , lunch, music class, PE class ,dinner

Sentences : --What time is it ?

         -- it’s nine o’clock . It’s time for English class.

and make sentences with other words

Step 4 Presentation

1. Lead-in (展示课件)

TI  have a friend,Mike,he is very busy today. Do you want to know what he does at different times? Let’s go and see !

Ss : Yes!

T :Ok,let’s go ! (展示课件)

2. Put in:

T : What time is it ?

Ss: It’s 6:30

T : Yes, I can say it’s six thirty . Follow me : thirty [ˈθɜ:ti]

Ss: Thirty. (read it several times)

T :Let’s pass the word one bye one. Yearh,you’re very clever !

句型:It’s six thirty . It’s time to get up.

     It’s seven thirty . It’s time to go to school.

     (分段操练)

3. practice : fresh cards

       What time is it ?

       It’s time to get up .

       It’s time to go to school.

      Hurry up!

  Practice 2 : pair work (先两两对话操练,然后向大家展示)

  回归课本,进行朗读和翻译

4. Grammar :
