Unit 3 Weather Part B 教案

一、教学目标

1.Language knowledge语言知识:

Vocabulary词汇:会听,会说,会认读rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy, sunny

Sentences句型:What’s the weather like in(city)...  It’s ... in ...

2.Language skill语言技能:

1)能在图片、图像、手势的帮助下,听懂简单的话语或录音材料

2)能根据拼读的规律,读出简单的单词 

3)能在日常生活中运用本节课知识点进行简单的天气预报

3.Culture 文化意识:

了解一些国家的标志性建筑物,以及一些不同地区的气候

4.Affect 情感态度:

在词汇和句子中增强学习英语的兴趣和参与热情,逐步养成良好的学习英语的习惯。

二、教学重难点

1.重点:

三会单词rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy, sunny,能用句型What’s the weather like in(city)...  It’s ... in ...进行交流。

2.难点:

能正确认读单词rainy,能用所学单词以及句子,做一个简单的天气预报。

三、教学过程

(一)、Greeting

Say hello to the students.

(二)、Warming up

1、Free talk

   What’s the weather like today?

2、Game

   I do, you say.  I say, you do.

教师做出cold/warm/cool/hot 相应的动作,学生根据教师的动作说出相应的单词

教师说出cold/warm/cool/hot, 学生根据教师所读单词做出相应的动作It’s cold/warm/cool/hot.

()Presentation

1、Show a map to present the famous places of some cities and the countries to let the pupils say out which country or city it belongs to.

  First, show the pictures of the typical buildings of Beijing, Sydney. London. Moscow, Singapore.

T: Look, what’s these?

Ss: Beijing, Sydney. London. Moscow, Singapore.

T: Where are they?

Ss: City.

Second, teacher asks a student to put the city card on the map.

T: Is Beijing a city or a country? 学生分辨出哪些是城市,哪些是国家。

T: Beijing is a city. China is a country. (假如学生不知道city  county 的差别,教师可以这样诠释两者的不同)

Third, present Miss Li’s picture.

T: She wants to go to these places, but she doesn’t know the weather. Now, let’s watch the weather report and tell her the weather.

 看完天气预报,学生回答各个城市的天气,引出新单词(rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy, sunny

Students watch the video and answer: what’s the weather like in ...  It’s ...

Learning new words

() Practice

1123木头人 (choose a pupil to come to front to the stage, face to the blackboard and count 8 to 1.While others should stand up and keep saying the words until that pupil stop count to turn back face to the class. Then the whole class should be quiet)

2、Play the piano (each group has a name: cloudy, windy, snowy, rainy, sunny. The teacher say out a word and that group should stand up and say out the word loudly)

    T: Rainy/cloudy/windy/snowy/sunny.

()Development.

1Go back to the weather report.

T:Now let’s go back to the weather report. What’s the weather like in Beijing/Sydney/Singapore?

学生可能只会说出单词:cloudy等。

T: Use the sentence. It’s.... (引导学生用句子回答)

Ss: It’s cloudy...

教师就地图上的国家和城市询问学生各地天气,操练句型:What’s the weather like in.....?

Ss: It’s....in...

2Different weather in different places

出示不同的天气符号,包括旧知和新知。

T: What’s the weather like in....?

先师生对话,然后同桌之间练习对话。
