一、教学内容分析

 

本课的话题为body language,在日常交际用语中常见的肢体语言有体态﹑姿势﹑面部表情等,body language是一种无声语言,它与有声语言一样能传递信息,表达人的内心世界。

    在之前的英语学习中,学生了解了一些日常交际中的肢体语言及其所表达的意义,积累并掌握了基本的词汇,对肢体语言有了基本认识。学会用日常交际中的姿体语言与人沟通交流,传递信息,但是对西方国家的姿体语言了解甚少,所以本节课从学生熟悉的字体语言所发生的情景出发,认识不太熟悉的西方国家的字体语言,从而了解中西方文化的差异。这样可以防止在跨文化交际中的误解,甚至冲突。

二、教学目标

Students will be able to know some body language and what it means.

2.Students will be able to understand the differences between Chinese and Western culture through learning body language.

三、教学重难点

1.How to understand the meaning of body language in different countries via listening to the text.

2.How to communicate with each other by body language.

3.How to show students performances by listening and speaking.

四、学习者特征分析

高一(2)班是钻石班,该班的优势:1.我班一直开展小组探究学习活动,大多数学生不同的语言环境中有较强的合作交流意识,乐意参加小组合作学习;2.课堂气氛活跃,积极参加活动,喜欢表演;3;学生有朗读的习惯,例如:晨读,课堂朗读等。

     劣势:1. 语言表达不够流利准确,少数不敢开口表达;2. 对西方国家的姿体体语言了解甚少;3.缺少对深层次问题的探究,平时口语交际中有效信息少。
