Teaching procedure

 

Step1 Warming up and leading in

 

Use Free talkto start the lesson, it can make the students into the class quickly.

 

设计意图:利用Free talk展开与本课相关话题,以旧带新,逐步展开,呈现新知。

 

Step2 Presentation

 

1. Use the simple drawing to lead the students to learn the words first.

 

2. Use some pieces of pictures to lead the students to know the different members of family. Then lead the students to say This is.

 

设计意图:创设真实有效的情境,使学生感知新知,学习新知,培养语言运用能力。并通过有趣的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,同时突破教学难点

 

Step3 Practice

 

1.     Listening practice

Imagine the girl on page 11 called Jenny, and then ask the students to listen to the teacher and circle the picture.

 

Q1: Who is the man? (He is Wu Chens father.)

 

Q2: Who is the woman? (She is Wu Chens mother.)

 

 

 

Listen to the second conversation and repeat.

 

2.     Pair work

 

Encourage the students to make up the conversation by simple drawing.

 

3.     Reading practice

 

(1)Ask the students to open the books on page11, and read by themselves.

 

(2)Group work

 

Make the students into group of four.

 

The teacher should give the students correct models.

 

设计意图:通过任务型教学活动,培养学生听、读、说、演的语言综合能力,并通过小组合作,使学生逐渐养成合作、探究、参与的学习习惯。

 

Step4 Production

 

1.     Ask the students to make up new conversations like the lesson according the Bb Designing.

 

设计意图:根据本课知识,鼓励学生学中用,用中学,学以致用。并拓展本课教学内容,突出教学重点,弱化难点。

 

Step5 Summary

Use a chant to tell the students what we have learnt today.

 

设计意图:用歌谣的形式总结本课,不仅突出本课重点,弱化教学难点,而且符合小学生的心理特点。

 

Step6 Homework

 

1.     Reciting: Ask the students to read the conversation and try to recite the conversation on page11.

 

2.     Writing: Introduce the members of family.

 

设计意图:通过分层布置作业,可以使不同层次的学生由读到背,养成良好的语言感知能力,激发学生听、说、读、写全面发展,培养学生的语言综合应用能力。
