一、教材分析

1、教学内容

本单元是Go for it七年级下册的第八单元“ Is there a post office near here? ”。本单元的核心话题是问路, 教材内容围绕着问路的常用

语，以及相应介词，in, on, under, in front of , next to, near, across from, between…and, behind等描述相应地方的位置。让学生学

会谈论怎样问路以及告诉别人具体的位置，因此 “talking about the position of some places” 是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习，学生

能掌握本单元出现的问路的词组及句型。

2、教材的地位及作用

以如何问路及回答为主线，兼顾交际功能的学习，以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序，引导学生学会用英语问路或具体告诉别人如何去找一个

地方。本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中，学生能通过描述，促进学

生之间和师生之间的情感交流，增进情谊。

二、学情分析

学生在七年级上册已经学过关于“where is/are…?”这一特殊疑问句式，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提，能自然地与本单元话题进行衔

接。谈论人们日常生活中遇到的话题。故学生喜于用英语表达此类知识。

三、教学目标 

1. 语言知识目标

(1) 能掌握以下单词： across, across from, front, in front of, behind, town, around

(2) 能掌握以下句型：

① —Is there a hospital near here?

   —Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.

② The pay phone is across from the library.

③ The pay phone is between the post office and the library.  

2. 情感态度价值观目标

   ① 通过运用简单的问路和引路的交际用语，学会相互合作，培养乐于助人的精神。

   ② 通过运用问路和引路的交际用语，帮助各个层次的同学树立自信心，敢于用英语进行交际.

四、教学重难点

1. 教学重点

①Where 引导的特殊疑问句及Be there 句型问路指路。

②方位介词的用法。

2. 教学难点

情景问路和指路。

五、教学过程

Step 1. Review.

1.Use some pictures to review the places.

2.City’s map:  pair-work

—Is there a hospital near here?

—Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.

Step 2. Watch a video

   T: Hello, everyone, please think about prepositions for position

   S: in, on……

   T: Good, today we are going to learn other prepositions for position and several nouns. Please watch a video and find the prepositions.

Teacher makes the sentence for students. ”the teacher is across from the students.”. Then write the structures on the blackboard :

 A is in front of /across from /behind B

Have three students come to the blackboard, other students make sentences.

Explain 1. in front of 在…的前面(在某范围之外)

e.g. There is a car in front of the classroom.  在房子前有一辆小汽车。

【辨析】in the front of “在……前面”（在某范围之内）

e.g. There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom. 在教室的前面有一块黑板。

2. across from 在…的对面, 

across adv/prep.过，穿过 go across the road 穿过马路

Step 3. Play a game.

1.Show the picture on the screen. Have students ask and answer.

Now, look at 2b, listen and fill in the blanks with the words in the box.

六、教学反思

本节的教学和以前的教学，以及平时的教学，我深刻的体会到，自己现在教学的瓶颈，教学的软肋，不在于知识，不在于课件的制作，也不是对

学情把握不到位，而是在于对学生的积极评价太少，和学生的情感交流不足。因为我们的教学对象是学生，学生还是孩子，需要愉快，轻松的环

境，更需要教师的鼓励和评价，才能使他们更有信心来完成自己的学习。但是由于自己的原因，不是不知道表扬，而是心里知道就是不能更好的

说给他们听，从而自己也不能”展现自己的表演艺术“，所以在接下来的教学中我应该重点在这一方面来练习自己，改变自己，改变课堂环境，

再加上改正自己的其他方面的不足，相信会有一定的进步。
