Step2 Presentation

Work on 1a

1.Look at the pictures in 1a, then describe each picture by asking some questions:

T: How many people?

  What are they talking about?

How does she/he study for a test?

How do they study English?

2. Check the ways you study English. Then add other ways you sometimes study.

Step3 Listening

Pre-reading: Read the names & guess the ways they study for a test.

While-reading: Finish 1b.

Post-reading: Explain some language points in listening material, such as by + doing...

Step4. Pair-work

Make conversations about how you study for a test.
