Unit 6 Do you like bananas?

Section A (Grammar Focus-3c)教学设计

一、教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标:

1) 继续学习描述自己或他人喜欢或不喜欢的食物,能够用but来表达简单的句子。

2) 总结动词like一般现在时的肯定句式、否定句式及一般疑问句的肯定、否定回答。

3) 总结复习可数名词复数的知识。

4) 理解英语可数名词与不可数名词的概念,并对所学过的部分词汇按此分类进行归纳总结。

2. 情感态度价值观目标:

通过开展小组活动,指导学生积极与他人合作,培养他们的合作精神。

教学习惯改变:注重学生的合作学习,这是可以提高学习效率的。

二、教学重难点:

1. 教学重点:

1)总结动词like一般现在时的肯定句式、否定句式及一般疑问句的肯定、否定回答。

2)理解英语可数名词与不可数名词的概念,并对所学过的部分词汇按此分类进行归纳总结。

三、教学过程:

Step 1. Warm-up & lead-in

1. Brain storm: What food do you know?

2. Free talk:

Do you like salad? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

Does she like tomatoes? Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.

Do they like pears? Yes, they do. / No, they don’t.

(设计意图:通过Brain stormFree talk,拉近师生距离的同时操练本单元重点句型。)

教学习惯改变:拉近师生距离,这是当前教学改革的重要。

3. Guess: What’s my favorite food?

Show the ingredients of Egg Fried Rice. Teach the new words in this part: carrot, egg, rice.

(设计意图:通过让学生猜测老师最喜爱的食物,激发学生兴趣,同时呈现本课时生词carrot, egg, rice。并借助食谱让学生初步感知可数名词与不可数名词。)

4. Read the passage about my family’s eating habits.

My Family's Eating Habits(饮食习惯)

    I have a happy family. There are five people in my family, my parents, my brother, my sister and I. We have different eating habits.

    I like apples, but I don't like pears. My parents like fruit and vegetables, but they don't like hamburgers. My brother likes milk, bread and eggs, but he doesn't like rice. My sister likes carrots and tomatoes, but she doesn't like strawberries.

I think we all have good eating habits, because we like healthy food and we don't like junk food(垃圾食品). Do you think so?

(设计意图:由语篇引入本节课语法知识点,而不是脱离语境的纯语法教学。)

Step 2. Presentation

TASK 1. Answer the questions:

Q1: What do my parents like?

Q2: What do my parents dislike?

Q3: What does my brother like?

Q4: What does my brother dislike? 

Q5: Does my sister like tomatoes?

Q6: Does my sister like strawberries?

(设计意图:在针对语篇的问答中,巩固like一般现在时的肯定句式、否定句式及一般疑问句的肯定、否定回答。)

TASK 2. Circle the food in Paragraph 2.

(设计意图:通过圈画文中的食物,自主观察发现可数名词与不可数名词的区别。)

TASK 3. Play a game.

(设计意图:借助希沃软件自带的课堂活动,让学生以游戏的形式对所学单词进行分类,使学生在玩中学,增加课堂趣味性。)

TASK 4. Learn the countable noun plural.

Ask Ss to classify the countable nouns: +s, +es, yies.

(设计意图:通过归纳总结,感知可数名词复数形式的变形规律。)

TASK 5. Underline the verbs(动词) in Paragraph 2.

(设计意图:再次回归语篇,通过找出文中动词并观察,发现like在一般现在时的肯定句式、否定句式的使用规律。)

Step 3. Practice

1. (Activity 3a on P33) Underline the correct words in the brackets.

I like fruit, but I (don’t / doesn’t) like vegetables.

She (like / likes) bread, but she (doesn’t / don’t) like salad.

He (like / likes) bananas, but he doesn’t (like / likes) oranges.

We (likes / like) hamburgers, but we (don’t / doesn’t) like chicken.

They (likes / like) pears, but they (don’t / doesn’t) like strawberries.

(设计意图:通过课本练习及时巩固所学内容,加深理解。)

2. Complete the passage.

Hello, my name ___ Sally. I ____ eleven years old. I'm a student. I _____ two good friends. They are Tom and Mary. Tom _____ (like) eggs and ______ (milk). But he _____________ (not like) hamburgers. Mary likes bananas and carrots, but she _____________ (not like) chicken. She _____ (eat) carrots every evening. Oh, I don't like carrots. I ____(like) tomatoes and ______________ (strawberry). (设计意图:通过补全短文,在操练like一般现在时的肯定句式、否定句式和可数名词、不可数名词同时,渗透了be以及其他动词的三单形式。并为汇报环节做铺垫。)

Step 4. Consolidation

1. Ask your classmates about the food in the chart. Find out what they like and don't like. Then write your own passage.

 

2. Ask someone to give a report about the survey.

(设计意图:通过开展小组活动,培养学生的合作精神。调查所涉及的内容,对整节课的只是进行巩固,提供学生充分使用语言的机会。)

Step 5. Summary

1. Talk about likes and dislikes.

2. Present tense to like.

3. Affirmative and negative statements.

4. Countable / uncountable nouns.

(设计意图:引导学生回顾本节课所学内容,促进知识的内化。)

教学习惯改变:温故而知新,让学生更加理解文本知识。

Step 6. Homework

Talk about your family’s favorite food, write a short passage.

     My name is…, I like…, but I don’t like….

     My father likes…, but he doesn’t like….

     My mother likes…, but she doesn’t like….

(设计意图:让学生把所学知识运用到现实生活中,英语不仅是停留在课堂和书本中,增进与父母的关系。)
