一、教材分析与地位：本单元主要通过话题“talk about where things are”学习询问“ 物品的位置”，使学生学会基本句型“Where’s my schoolbag? It’s under the table. Where are my pens? They’re in the pencil.”，进一步体会“Where...?”疑问句的用法；学会运用方位介词“on/in/under”表达物品的位置。通过以上几个方面的学习，使学生学会听关键词、推测词意的学习策略，识别不同物品的位置;既能促使学生了解自己的家居环境，热爱自己的家，又能促使学生通过想象设计自己理想中的房间。

二、学情分析：本节课的知识点在小学已涉及到，并不陌生，学起来不是很难，但是我带的两个班的学生大部分学生基础差，还很粗心，特别要强调细节方面和最容易出错的地方。因此还要多关注学生的学习和多练习来掌握本节课的知识。

三、课标要求：能听懂学习活动中连续的指令和问题，并做出适当的反应。

能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段。

能就熟悉的话题进行简单的交流。

能在教师的指导下进行简单的角色表演。

四、评价任务：检查有多少学生能听懂听力材料并能做出正确的答案。

检查学生在进行对话训练时，哪几组做得好？

检查有多少学生在进行做课堂练习时准确率高。

五、学习目标：

1、To learn to use “on, in, under”

2、To talk about where things are

（2）A: Is the bag under/ on/ in...?

B: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

（3）A: Are the books under/ on/ in...?

3、通过上述对话来描述物品的位置、找寻物品等一系列活动，激发学生学习英语的积极性，让学生在听说读写做中学习和掌握语言知识，培养学生运用本单元语言知识的能力。

六、学习重点：

1、理解、内化、运用以下家庭生活中出现的物品名称：table,bed,chair,bookcase,sofa。。。

2、短语on,in,under等介词短语及其熟练运用.

3、学习重点句型：Where is/are。。。？It’s/They’re。。。

七、学习难点：Where引导的问句和方位介词on,under,in的用法。

八、教具准备：制作反映各种物品位置关系的课件；设计课后巩固练习的幻灯片。

Step 1： Warming up and revision(Words Review)

Let students check the new words of unit4 by reading and spelling in pairs.

Show some pictures to the class and find out the prons with”under, on, in”to complete the sentences.

Step3:课堂活动学习过程

Task1: Match the words with the things in the picture.(1a)and check the answers.

Let students remember the words by reading and spelling in groups.

Task2:Listening practice(1b)

Listen carefully twice and number the things in the picture [1-4],then check the answers together.

Task3:Pair work (1c)

Practice the conversation in 1a with your partner.

Then make your own conversations using the words in the box. With“ on ,in, under”

Ask some pairs to act it out to the class like this:

A: Where is/ are the… ?

B: It’s/ They’re in/ on/ under/…

Task4:Listening practice(2a、2b)

Listen carefully and number the things [1-6],then check the answers together.

Listen carefully again twice, find the things from 2a and number them in the picture [1-6],then check the answers together.

Step5:Pair work(2c)

Ask and answer the questions about the things in the picture in 2b like this:

A:Are the keys on the sofa? B:Yes, they are.

A:Is the pencil box on the bed? B:No, it isn’t. It’s under the table.

Step 4 :Language points:

Where 引导的特殊疑问句，询问“某人或某物在哪里”

结构：where + be + 主语（人或物）? （be 动词要与主语保持一致）

答句：“主语 + be + 表示地点的介词短语”（其主语一般用人称代词代替，避免重复）

1. A: Where is/are ...?

B: It’s/ They’re under/ on/ in....

2. A: Is the bag under/ on/ in...?

B: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

3. A: Are the books under/ on/ in...?

B: Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.

Step5:学习重难点，当堂检测，巩固所学知识。

翻译下列词组。
