Unit 2 English around the world教学设计
教学目标:
二、 教学目标:
(一).知识目标:
1.本单元的中心话题是“世界上的英语”,通过对这一话题的探讨加强对英语语言的了解,对当代语言特别是英语发展趋势的了解。
2.这一单元课文中出现长难句。重点是分词短语作定语。例如
(1)The English spoken in England between about AD450 and 1150 was very different from the English spoken today.

(2)Today the number of people learning English in China is increasing rapidly.
通过分析,教会学生如何分析长难句。

通过阅读教学,理解课文中的词汇,单词放在课文中理解会变的更容易。
(二). 能力目标:培养学生的各项阅读理解能力。
(1) 抓主旨大意以及段落大意的能力。如:What’s the main idea of the text?

细节理解能力。如:Make a timeline of the development of English, using the passage to help you. and

Step I
Learning—in
1. Students make a dialogue and get some differences between American English and British English.
2. Show a map and list some countries that use English as an official language.
[设计说明]:这两项活动主要由学生在课余通过上网查阅知识自己来完成,充分调动了学生学习英语的积极性和学生的自主学习的能力。通过对话创设情景,让学生在快乐中了解美式英语和英式英语的不同,同时激发学生学习英语的兴趣。通过展示世界地图,让学生了解更多的讲英语的国家的知识,同时也更加充分调动了学生的积极性。
