2. Ability aim: Enable  Ss to describe the color of things in daily life.

4. Important points: Handle new words and sentence structure  about how to identify colors.

5. Difficult points: The application of new structure  to describe things.

Teaching procedures

Step  1.  Review.

Let Ss  to review the knowledge by making conversations.

Purpose: To review main structure learned before.

Step  2.Lead in

Prediction : Look at the picture of rainbowand  predict what are we  going to learn today.

Purpose: To  arise Ss interests and improve their abilities to figure out questions by themselves.

Step  3.Pre-listening

Task1.I can match

Ask Ss to match the words  with color  then check the prediction.

Task 2.New words

Ss should read these words followed teacher then read in groups for three times.

Task 3. Challenge your memory

Teacher show a flash of pictures,  Ss say the color  as quick  as possible.

Purpose: Enable  Ss to handle new words quickly and efficiently.

Step  4 .While listening

Task1A match task.  Listen and match the words with the picture s.

Task2. Fill in the blanks. Listen again then fill in the blanks.

Step  5.  After listening

Task1. Retell. Retell the conversations according to the chart.  Ss can discuss in groups then show in the class.

Like: What s this  Its V.

Task2. Role play . Make new conversation according to the chart.

A: Whats this  BIts    AWhat color is it  BIt's red.

A: Whats this  BIts   A What color is it  BIt's blue.

A: Whats this  BIts   A What color is it  BIt's green.

A: Whats this  BIts   A What color is it  BIt's yellow.

Step 6.  Expand

Look at  a picture and see what letters can you see and make conversations in groups.

Purpose: Enable  Ss to use new structures correctly in daily life.

Step 7.  I am a reporter

Ss can make a survey in groups to find out what s your classmatefa vorite color .

Purpose: To help  then learn to care about others and admire beauty  around us.

Step  8.Home work

Oral:朗读及背诵第S9 页上的单词和句子

Written:找出生活中带有颜色的物体并用本节的句型造 5段对话。
