一.教学目标:
1.复习关于人的性格的形容词和副词,如:calm,wild ,serious,athletic,shy, smart, outgoing, friendly, funny, talented.......
2.复习交友的一些句子结构:have/has cool clothes
be popular at school
like to do the same things as me
be good at sports
do well in schoolwork
make me laugh
He can keep a secret
We look alike
I like to have friends who are different from me.
He can always beat me in tennis
Carol is more outgoing than me / I am
I really don’t care about the differences.

二.学情分析:本课的教学内容是中考复习课。You and your friends是本节课的主要任务,它的任务不仅仅是训练和提高阅读技能,也涵盖了实际交际用语、词汇及其他语言知识,同时也培养学生正确的情感态度、价值观,让学生明确自己真正需要什么样的朋友。学生通过近三年的学习,已经基本掌握了描述性格的形容词和副词,对形容词、副词的比较等级的用法也很熟悉,功能话题you and your best friend 的帮助下对学生的听说读写进行系统的复习巩固。
二.重点、难点:在有限的教学时间内引导学生进行写作,并且对学生所写的内容进行指导。
三.教学过程:
Step1:Presentation
1. Present: Today we are going to talk about comparison. We will compare to see Which group is the best.
2. Show the topic: You and your best friend
3. PK time: what are you like?
(通过小组竞赛,导出关于性格和外貌的一些形容词,如:calm,wild ,serious,athletic,shy, smart, outgoing, friendly, funny, talented.......)
4.. Get them to listen and repeat the words about personality
Step2: Oral practice
1. Say : Yesterday, Miss Liu did a interview with some of our classmates and teachers. Let’s read what they say and try to see if they are true or false.
2. Show some pictures on the screen which is about some classmates’ and their teacher’s personalities and explain some grammar points about comparative.
Picture 1: No one is calmer than me.
Picture 2: We are both in-going. / I am as in-going as Miss Chen.
Picture 3: oh , no I am as shy as my pet cat.
Picture4: studentA: I am serious.
Headteacher : I am more serious than you.
