Teaching Preparation(教学准备):思源实验学校七年级30学生   

教学时间:40分钟

Teaching Goals(教学目标):

1.复习所学的颜色类及服装类的词汇,并能在说、读和写的练习中熟练运用。

2.总结归纳询问及回答不同类型和不同颜色服装的价格的句型。

①-How much is...?     Its...

②-How much are...?    Theyre...

3.能理解并正确运用指示代词和表示颜色的形容词来修饰名词。

4.根据所提供的情景,能询问不同类型及不同颜色服装的价格。(难点)

Difficult Teaching Points(教学重难点):

重点:1.总结归纳询问及回答不同类型和不同颜色服装的价格的句型。

2.能理解并正确运用指示代词和表示颜色的形容词来修饰名词。

难点:根据所提供的情景,能询问不同类型及不同颜色服装的价格。

 Teaching Methods(教学方法):1、运用语法教学法中的归纳法和演绎法。

2、教师与学生,学生与学生的互动。

                             3视听教学法,及小组内合作学习

Teaching Tools(教具): 多媒体,彩色纸,实物,图片

Teaching Procedures(教学步骤):

Step 1: setting up the context.(创设文本) (3 minutes)

Teacher greets with students and leads in the topic “asking the priceby showing the real clothes.

T: Good evening ! boys and girls. How are you today?

S:Fine, thanks .And you?

T:I am fine ,too. Sit down, please. whats this in English?

S: Its a bag.

T:What color is it?

S:It,s brown.

T:Can you guess how much is the bag?

S: Maybe, twenty dollars or thirty dollars.

T:Maybe,but the price is not important. How about this one? whats this in English?

S:Its a skirt.

T:What color is it?

S:Its blue.

T:Can you guess how much is the skirt?

S: Maybe, fifteen dollars or thirty dollars.

Thenteacher will introduce the rules of getting scores. If the group members can volunteer to give the right answer, his or her group will win a flag.

In the end, the group which win the most flags will win the first prize cup.

 

Step 2: warming up and leading in the topic of asking the price of the clothes.(热身及歌曲导入询问价格单复数句子)(4minutes)

 Teacher will let students listen to How muchsong. And then repeat some lyrics about the price.(欣赏完歌曲后,重复里面关于价格的句子)

 T: Do you like the song? Can you remember the lyrics?

T: How much is the pencilHow much is the rubber?

 1,How much is that pencil?

                                                 

2,How much is the rubber(橡皮擦)?

                                                 

3,How much is that ruler?

                                                 

4, How much is that notebook?

                                                

 

 Step 3: presenting the learning goals.(呈现学习目标) (1minute )

1.复习所学的颜色类及服装类的词汇,并能在说、读和写的练习中熟练运用。

2.总结归纳询问及回答不同类型和不同颜色服装的价格的句型。

①-How much is...?     Its...

②-How much are...?    Theyre...

3.能理解并正确运用指示代词和表示颜色的形容词来修饰名词。

4.根据所提供的情景,能询问不同类型及不同颜色服装的价格。(难点)

Step 4:  Working on Grammar Focus by Setting up asking and answering about pictures activity. (4 minutes)(语法聚焦依据图片对话)

At first, Teacher will put up some pictures about clothes on the blackboard to set up a context. Imagine teacher has a clothes store . Then ask students to ask and answer the price. The content is the same as the Grammar Focus.

①-How much is the hat?     Its five  dollars    ②-How much are these socks?    Theyre two dollars.

Then, let students conclude the rules of sentence structures of asking price of goods.

1.询问单数物品的句型和答语?  请举例说明 。

2.询问复数物品的句型和答语?  请举例说明 。

 Step 5: setting up the context to deal with 3a (3 minutes) .(重新创设教材内容,合起课本先让学生自行归纳指示代词,颜色,衣物类词)

在名词前面应先说定冠词the,或指示代词this, that, these ,those等,再说表示大小长短的词,最后是表示颜色的词。即:

颜色词归类:yellow,  green purple,   bluebrown,   redwhite,   black

服装类词归类:T-shirt, hat, trousers, skirt, sweater, socksshorts, shoesjacket,    bag

the/this/that/these/those+大小/长短+颜色+中心名词

 

 

Step 6 : Students make sentences by working with a group. (5minutes) (学生小组内合作学习共同造句)

Teacher will give the example to make sentences and then let students work with a group.

  How much  is...?                              How much are...?

How much is the yellow hat?                     How much are those black trousers?   

How much is the red bag?                        How much are these blue socks? 

How much is that purple skirt?                      How much are the green shorts?

How much is that yellow T-shirt?                   How much are these black shoes?

 How much is the brown jacket?    

 How much is the white sweater?

 Step7Monitoring and giving some feedback then, every group will have a competition to give the proper answer.(2 minutes)(教师调控并给出反馈)

 When most students work with a group to make sentences, Teacher monitors the class, walks around and gives some feedback. Teacher should observe if students have problems finding suitable words to asking the price. Then, teacher will choose volunteers to show their answers. After that, teacher will present a reference on the screen.

 

Step 8: Guiding students to read the chant of asking and answering the price.(2 minutes)

How much, How much, How much is the hat?   

Five dollars, Five dollars, Its five dollars.

How much, How much, How much are these socks?   

 Two dollars, Two dollars, They are two dollars.

How much, How much, How much is the bag?   

Ten dollars, ten dollars, Its ten dollars.

How much, How much, How much are those shoes?   

Twenty dollars, Twenty dollars, They are twenty dollars.

 

Step 9: setting up activity of 3b. (4 minutes)

 Now, we are going to focus on the activity of 3b . students work with a group and then write down the answer. Then, teacher will choose volunteers to show their answers. After that, teacher will present a reference on the screen.

1, It is five dollars.

2, It’s ten dollars.

3, It’s six dollars.

4, How much are the socks?

5, How much is this sweater?

6, How much is that skirt?

Step 10: Role play the conversation of seller and customers in clothes store to deal with 3c. (2minutes)(角色扮演模拟购物场景)

Teacher ask a student to give an example. And then let students work in pairs.  

T: Can I help you?

S:Yes,please. I need a sweater.

T: What colour do you want?

S:I like blue. How much is it?

T: It is nine dollars.

S:OK, I will take it. Here you are.

T: Thank you!

Step11: running the activity (3minutes)

When the students are doing this activity, the teacher walks around and observes. Then teacher will take notes and do delayed error correction .

Step 12:Guiding students to finish exercise(5minutes) .
