To be honest, Ms Chang’s demo class is a success, from which young teachers like me can learn a lot. My specific ideas are as follows.

To begin with, Ms Chang used pictures to arouse students’ interest and made them eager to read the passage about that beautiful city. Students listened to the tape of the passage and answer the questions after listening and in this way their listening skills are enhanced. Secondly, the teacher could accurately extract crucial information about the passage, and students filled in the blanks, which they grasped the basic idea of the passage. Last but not the least, students were asked to write a short paragraph about their hometown using the given expressions. They were quite enthusiastic about this activity. After showing their outcome passage, the teachers listened to the class were amazed at their performance.

To sum up, Ms Chang was able to improve students’ ability of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one class. Hopefully I will be given more chances to approach these sorts of excellent classes of the excellent teachers.
