　Ⅰ. Introduction

　　教师试着与学生谈谈各自通常度周末的情况 , 激发学生对这个话题的学习兴趣 , 并导入提问频率的 how often 句型

　　1. 学生做 duty report 之后 , 教师通过星期几过渡到周末 (weekend) 这个概念 , 然后再自然过渡到询问周末活动的内容 .

　　T: What day is today?

　　S: Today is _____.

　　T: Which day do you like best?

　　S: Sunday.

　　T: What can we call Saturday and Sunday?
　　S: Weekends.
　　T: What do you usually do on weekends ?

　　S: I often watch TV on weekends.

　　2. 随即询问学生一周内做几次 exercise,do homework,watch TV  等动作 .

　　T: How often do you watch TV every week ?

　　S: I watch TV once or twice a week.

　　学生互相询问

　　Ⅱ. Practice( 1a )

　　学生看教学挂图 , 说出图中人物的周末活动情况 .

　　( 指图 )T:What do they usually do on weekends?

　　学生小组讨论出正确答案 , 每组代表在黑板上各写一种动作 .

　　Ⅲ. Listen(1b)

    教师由问题导出听力内容 , 学生听并回答问题 ,

　　T: How often do they do the activities?

　　 Let's listen and write the letters from the picture on the lines .

　　Ⅳ. Pairwork( 1c )

　　学生自愿到前面看图作两两对话 .

　　S1: What does she do on weekends?

　　S2: She often goes to the movies.

　　Ⅴ. Listen( 2a  ,2b)

　　进一步练习听力 , 并再现语言要点 .

　　1. Cheng is talking about how often he does different activities.

　　Number the activities you hear[1-5].

　　2. Listen again. Answer the question.

　　How often does cheng do the activities?

　　Ⅵ. Pairwork 让学生联系实际编对话 , 学以致用 .

　　Fill in the chart in  2c .Make conversations like this:

　　S1: How often do you go to the movies?

　　S2: I go to the movies once a month.

　　S1: What's your favorite movie?

　　S2: Black September.

　　Homework 互相询问日常活动及其频率 .
