                    Module2  No Drugs  教学设计

一、教材分析

   本课是高一必修2第二模块里的一篇阅读课（Reading）,在上节课Introduction里面初步接触和学习了描写抽烟、吸毒以及毒品等相关词语，本课是上一篇的延续，主要讲述了一个吸毒者的故事以及可卡因的危害。

二、教学目标

   1、学习另外一些介绍吸毒和毒品的相关词语；

   2、通过阅读寻找文章各段落之间的关系，回答相关问题，培养联想、理解、前后联系能力和逻辑分析能力。

三、设计流程

  Step 1 Presentation

   Use the pictures connected with drugs to lead in;

   Show the new words and teach them through the picteres.

  Step 2 Listening to the tape

   Show the task of the listening：Choose the best titles from the choices

     A  A Drug Addict and His Story

     B  Dangerous Activities of Teenagers

     C  The Dangers of Using Cocaine

  Step 3 Reading 

     Ask Ss to read the five paragraphs of Article 1 and then answer the following questions;

       (shown on the screen)

      Ask Ss to read the three paragraphs of Article 2 and then decide these sentences 

Ture or False.

        (shown on the screen)

  Step4 Consolidation and Practice

       Consolidate the main points by filling blanks of the passage;

       Discuss the reasons and results by drilling.

四、教学反思

   本节阅读课使用常规教学讲授，教学设计挖掘了文章的内涵和主旨，使各种有效信息渗透到英语教学之中，整个过程始终贯穿这培养学生的各方面能力，全方位开发学生的潜能。让学生进行巩固练习时，感觉方法有些陈旧。
