Lesson16: Cars and buses教学设计
——河北版《学英语》三年级起始版四年级上册

一、教学内容
本课是冀教版三年级起始版四年级上册第三单元的第四课，是一节新授单词课。学生通过学习四种交通工具和一个数字30，并学会用英语表达乘坐不同的交通工具去不同的地点。
二、学情分析
本课教学对象是小学四年级的学生，通过一年多的学习，他们大多有一定的英语积累，能进行简单的对话，对英语学习充满兴趣。教师要紧紧抓住学生的年龄特征，利用课件、图片、游戏等辅助手段，将教学环节形象化、生动化，使学生自然地接触语言现象，进行新知识的输入和输出。
1、教学目标：
认知目标：四会单词：car, bike, bus, taxi，thirty
句型：How do you go to school? I go to school by ____.
2、教学重点： 掌握几种交通工具的表达方式，能灵活运用重点句型“How do you go to___ ? I go to ___ by___.”询问他人如何出行。
3、教学难点：能尝试运用所学句子介绍和询问他人的出行方式。
4、教具准备:课件、图片、生词卡
教学过程：
(一)、Class opening and review
1. Greeting:
T: Hello, class. How are you today?
C: I’m fine. And you?
T: Very good, thanks. Nice to meet you!
C: Nice to meet you, too.
2. Free talk:
T: Hello, boy/ girl, How old are you? : Is your home near school? Do you walk to school?
C:I am fine. I live near school. I walk to school.
3. Sing a song: “This is the way we walk to school.”
T:This is the way we walk to school. Do you walk to school? Who walks to school? I don’t walk to school. because I live far from the school.
【设计思路】通过师生对话，把学生的注意力吸引到课堂上来。演唱歌曲，为本节课新授知识做好铺垫；设计一些过渡型的对话，循序渐进地引导学生有准备地进入下面的单词的学习。
(二)、New Concepts: car, bike, bus, taxi，thirty
1、CAI:
T: Look. This is my home. This is my school. I live far from school. I don’t walk to school. I go to school by car.
Show the poster of car to the students. Ask the students to read after me.
Write the word car on the blackboard, Stick two posters beside the word and plus s after car. Show some words such as: arm farm park far.Ask them to read these words.
【设计思路】以老师的家离学校远需要开车上班，引出了单词car，新词car讲解完，出示几个ar组合的单词，巧妙夯实了语音知识，通过两辆汽车的卡片，讲解了小汽车变复数的规律是直接加s。
2、Flash.
T: There are many transports in our daily life. Now let’s watch a flash. You should remember what you have seen.What transport did you see?
Train, truck and plane paste on the blackboard directly, taxi, bike and bus are main words. Write on the blackboard.
【设计思路】播放交通小视频的作用是吸引学生的注意力，为接下来三个交通工具的学习打下基础，在利用图片加深学生对单词的记忆。新词bike以换字母的“老鞋新路”形式呈现给学生，不仅帮助学生理解了词意，而且对i-e结构的发音规则进行了适当复习。通过两辆公共汽车的卡片，讲解了公交车变复数的规律要加es。
T: I go to school by car. How do you go to school?
C1：I go to school by ______. How do you go to school?
C2：I go to school by ______.
Drill the sentence in pairs.
板书：How do you go to school? I go to school by ____.
【设计思路】在讲授单词时，把单词融入到句型中去，做到了词不离句。句型的板书是一个两点，通过把问句写在一个大大的问号中，使板书更加形象贴切。由师生进行对话，再扩展到生生对话，巩固对话教学。在这个活动中，教师是参与者、帮助者，学生是活动的主体。
3、 CAI text.
Watch the text the first time. Then read after it.
4、CAI and drill.
T:I am hungry, I want to go to the restaurant. How do I go to the restaurant?
C：I go to the restaurant by car.(library—bike; zoo—bus; home—taxi)
【设计思路】活动的设计要和语言的使用相配合，通过去四个学生熟悉的地点，要乘坐不同的交通工具，最大限度调动学生多种感官功能同时参与教学活动学生在活动中能进行交流理解和运用所学知识。
（三）、Practice
1.Game: Guess, how?
2.Practice with a map
C1:How do you go to ______?
C2:I go to______ by ______.
【设计思路】猜猜游戏，可以活跃课堂气氛，还可以增强学生的反应能力，加速学生的大脑反应速度，更是巩固句型的一种好方法。出示一副出示一张城市地图（具有多个地点，如公园、饭店、电影院等），引导学生在活动中灵活使用所学语言，达到巩固新知的目的，同时使练习不乏趣味性，让学生始终保持英语学习的热情。
（四）、New word: thirty
On Tuesday, I go to school by bus. I take number 23 bus to go to school.
Show the students some buses, review numbers from 1 to 29. Count from 1 to 29 with students.
Then teach 30.
Game: Count by three.
【设计思路】通过老师因限号坐23路公交车上班，引出数字的教学，同时对学生进行绿色出行的教育。和学生们一起玩三的倍数的游戏，也是检查学生对数字掌握情况的一个好方法。
（五）、Present
体验角色，形成语用
Magic driver
Teacher chooses some drivers .They walk around the class. If some students want to get on ,the driver can ask: “How do you go to _____?”
The passenger should say:“I go ____ by…”If the passenger says the right sentence, he can get on.
【设计思路】活动的设计要和语言的使用相配合，引导学生在活动中灵活使用所学语言，达到巩固新知的目的，同时使练习不乏趣味性，让学生始终保持英语学习的热情。
（六）、Make a survey.
Ask the partner how do you go to___?
【设计思路】能在课本知识的基础上做到拓展和延伸，同时练习了书写新单词。
（七）、Class closing
1.Travelling.
T:I like travelling. I’ll show you some pictures about my trip. Tell the students to study hard.
2.Homework
（1）.Write the five new words four times
（2）.Ask friends or parents about travelling and make a chart.
【设计思路】出示教师去不同城市所乘坐的交通工具，再次把所学运用到生活实际中去。分层作业根据课堂任务内容，以个人形式完成，使课外作业与任务型语言课堂教学融为一体。作业与课堂学习任务及学生的生活经历有关，既复习和强化所学知识，变机械学习为有意义的学习，又可以为学生提供展示个性和能力的舞台。
